First call is a machine ringing that hangs up without speaking to establish what time of day you will answer. Then the machine calls back around that time on a subsequent day and you are put through to a sales rep if you speak when you pick up.They try again every months or two if you don't sign up. If in doubt about who it is, dont talk when you answer and wait for the other party to speak. The machine hangs up after 1-2 seconds of silence. A person calling would say 'hello?'.

Rang three times in one night, no one spoke on the other end when I answered.
