This number has tried to call me again. Have spoken to the people at Consular Corps Melbourne regarding the previous calls and the poor people have had their number hijacked and are quite distressed about it.

Was receiving calls every single day from this number. Went on for a month. Robot voice each call said 'Hello' then waited 2 seconds, then said 'Goodbye' before hanging up. Called the number back and spoke to a staff member from the Consular Corps Office in Melbourne (https://ccmelb.com/). Staff member expressed his annoyance as he was receiving abusive phone calls from the public threatening him at least 10-25 times a day. The number is legit and is used by a government service. Apparently the office phone number has been hacked and is being ghosted from an external source. Only way to completely stop it was to report to Telstra and get the number blocked by their techs (was free of charge). Staff member also suggested anyone effected by the number contact their telco to get it blocked and to report it as it would expedite their investigation into their number being hacked.

a caller rang 2;57pm 17/4/18 tuesday and didn,t leave message . many occasions the same number rang . was made aware that "CRIMINAL" figures with their "Underlings" attempt to frighten the "Good Australian" people being the vast "MAJORITY" .

This number phones at all hours of the day and night!!!! When you answer it is just a recorded voice saying Goodbye. Very distressing when your father is dying and the phone rings at 3am. The number is listed to the Consular Corps Melbourne and I will consular corp their arses if they call again!
