Calling around dinner time too, which to me is always a clear sign that they are a call center of some description, charity or otherwise.

I declined the call 6.42 pm. I never answer numbers I don’t know. Hang up message. BTW never donate to charity fundraisers. Donate directly to the charity. Fundraisers take an exorbitant cut. Check the fine print. Number now blocked

ring and don't leave a msg. This is getting very common, I'm assuming a call centre trying to scam or beg donations.

They call repeatedly and don't leave a message. Once left a jokey 'hello' and another time 'Hi is this (my name)' but didn't say who they were.

They call repeatedly, never leave a message. I finally called back and got a recorded message - "...calling on behalf of a charity you have previously supported, or to see if you would like to support..."

If they call your mobile & it goes to message bank they will hang up, & when you call, you get a recording.
