I also got a call from Peter from Yarra Consulting Group offering 'Government incentives' to save tax through my mortgage. I have researched and believe this to be a scam or at least a dodgy scheme.

I was contacted by Yarra Consulting and have nothing but praise for this company. I attended their office and found them to be very professional. They have provided me with some very useful information in setting myself up for the future.

DON'T BOTHER, keep your money in your pocket and get a good Accountant. $5,000 for "life time financial advice" haven't heard from them in 18 months. Nothing more that property peddlers.

Actually had the free consultation, it was good advice to my circumstance, but only problem i had was the consultant giving me advice and not having a financial planners certificate to do so.

Yep, they are the Yarra Consulting Group. Nice website, but that means nothing. They have called me several times and seem to want to know way too much info about my financial affairs. Making unsolicited calls for this type of business makes me very suspicious - best to play if safe and not engage them at all.

I received a call from a lady at Yarra Consulting Group spruiking the same advice as noted already on this page...tax incentives etc. Asked if I owned any property - told her no..she hung up.

Getting multiple calls a day for many days. When I answer I say immediately 'not interested' and hang up (I've worked in outbound calls, you're forced to keep talking unless the caller hangs up).

I actually answered one of the many spam phone calls I receive each day. The guy asked for the home owner and when I asked what it was in regards to he hung up. Very professional and legitimate. I called back and got a message saying that the Yarra Consulting Group was busy and couldn't take my call.
