Ive had this call twice now.. First time was I had money topay on a gas and elec bill, I informed them I dont have one as I live with my fam. Second call I had was today and somehow they got my address details... I gave them nothing....

Things that I dont get about this number, places or where ever god knows..they dont leave a voice message after so many miss calls. Even though I set as voice mail, strange hey..i mean, if its important, just call once then leave the voice message, then we considerate calling back rite?!

An Asian lady first called me, saying that she was from Telechoice in Melbourne and asked if I was with Optus, I told her to take me off their list and immediately hung up. They then called a second time, and finally, today. I made it clear that if I ever get a call from them again, I will be reporting the number. Needless to say, the telemarketer (an Indian man) seemed very scared. I wonder if this number is linked to various call centres in different countries. Fingers crossed I don't get any calls from this number again.

I also got repeated calls from this no. but find myself lucky to have answered it once and since then I have actually started to save money on my electricity bills.
I was very reluctant to switch over but when I heard the amazing discounts on total bill ,I was blown away.I wish I had andswered their call before...anyway what I want to say is that this call is def not spam.I was with origin with sad discounts on usage only and now I get 16% on total bill.I thought it is worth sharing.

I answered the first call from these guys, told me I qualified to get a discount on my energy bill I told them I lived with my parents so they apologised and hung up. Apparently there is no "list" because I still get calls from them despite me obviously being of no use to them.

Just got a call from this number - said they were from Telechoice and started asking about my gas and electricity bill. I said "i am not interested and don't have time for any marketing calls". He replied "It's not a marketing call, but if you don't have time then fine" and hung up.

They called me on Thursday. I answered and I heard laughter then this woman tells me she's sorry she was talking to her colleague then she started racing with her words and all I got out of her was "so and so from melbourne (im from nsw wth?), can you please get a recent electricity bill" so I said nah I live with fam. I wish they would rack off :|

I have experienced the same, repeated calls, then when I finally answered, the hard sell, by a bullish woman who barraged me with talking at 100 miles an hour. They emphasise the discount but not the fact that by agreeing, you are effectively entering a contract. Very unethical, the woman was a bully, rude, aggressive and unpleasant to deal with, even worse, did not make clear the terms of the contract.

Telechoice - ringing to say they want to save me money on my energy bill. I said send me details, and I'll review them first. This then went onto a comment "we can send you the information - and in 10 days if you don't like it you can call back"... This os course prompted me to ask "Do you mean by agreeing to have the information sent to me you will be transferring my energy service?" - I was gobsmacked to hear a "Yes". I made it quite clear that by no means do i agree to any changes to my service, and do not send me any information if this means it is an agreement. No change, no transfer, not interested."

What's with these dirty, unethical tactics... How many ppl are being scammed?? Need to go to the ombudsman...

I with they would f*uck off. Does optus give our numbers out to these f*ckwits? They keep calling me asking me if I'm still with origin, I'm not and have not been for like 10 years.

This Number Has Been Calling Me For A Couple Of Weeks Now I Answer Once And They Told Me They Were For Telechoice Optus & I was Going Over My Bill!! I Told Him Funny That Mate Ive Been Paying The Same Amount For The Past 2 Years, Then Got Another Call This Time They Wanted My Address To Send Me My iPhone 5, Im Like If You Are Who You Say You Are You Can Send It To The Morayfield Office Thanks She Than Went Silent So I Hung Up & Called The Morayfiled Office And They Tell Me Its A Scam They Do Not Send Anything, Im Glad I Never Gave Any Detail Out Please Be Aware
