They also call me on my mobile but Ive been able to block the call there. If I ever have answered the call on the home phone they instantly hang up and I have never spoken to a person so it is just designed to irritate people otherwise they would speak.

It would be fine if they took NO for an answer but they don't and there lies the problem. We are supposed to be living in a democracy but can't stop nuisance calls. It stinks. I can think of better ways to earn some money.

I've read all the posts, and see it from people earning money for study through to diatribes threatening violence. But when it comes to calling elderly people (like my 90yo mum) and her worrying about what the call is about, then a polite f*** off is what they'll get from me. And how do these people get an unlisted number in the first place?

Before politely telling them to go and get f*c#ed I suggest that they check the "Do Not Call Register" before making calls. Even though they have been made exempt from the register I ask if they honestly think that I will be happy to take their call considering the time and effort I have gone to enrolling on the Register. The more rude we are the more likely they will get the message. The consider niceness to be stupidity..Give it to them straight ........ Eff Off.

Send complaints here. iview.enquiries @ ipsos.com

They randomly generate numbers apparently, and the Do Not Call Register doesn't include them because they are conducting social research, not selling something. More like harassment to me!

Rude and obscene cretin. Are you unable to make a point without descent into obscenity, blasphemy and scatological crudity?

This is a scam company like ''IPSOS'' they work together with Secure Australia''! They are criminals and should be in prison. They want to get every detail of your private information to be able to hack you in a future date. ''666'' the number of the beast!

There is no point asking them to remove you from the list because they will not!
