Hi,

This number belongs to Wallis market and social research based in Melbourne.
Do you ever look at information that has public opinion or statistics in it? X% say this Y% say this. X% experience this and Y% experience this?

If people didn't take part in social research - about all kinds of things - where would that data come from? Have a think about that next time you look at a news source or information. No one is forcing you do to anything. If you are contacted - you can say "yes sure", "no, now isn't a good time, try later" or "no thanks, not interested". It's really that simple.

If social research couldn't talk to the wider public - then where would the information about what the general public think and experience come from?

If they are genuine they could leave a message then people could know what they are calling about and might be happy to help

Well, Jayne from Wallis Group i don't really care if you operate within the law. I do care about greedy little scum bags like you that make money from pestering people, how about you start up a "please call me register" and piss off the people that volunteer to listen to you. Better still please post your home phone number on this site and let people ring you between 9am and 830pm during the week and up to 5pm on weekends and let them express their honest heartfelt opinion on your service.

I am not sure why there are so many complaints on here and what the big fuss is. If you don't want to respond, just hang up and get on with your day.

The website is very vague, I can't find any information on the leadership team.
Just because you can make a website and add some logos of Vic Roads and AEC, doesn't meant you're a legitimate organisation doing anything on behalf of the government.

As always, we don’t answer calls from numbers that aren’t in our contact list / or that we don’t recognise. On Wallis’ website they do have a form that you can complete to stop getting these unsolicited calls. There is no need for people to be rude/swear … (there are enough of those in the world). Simple … don’t answer the call.

They're calling me up to four times a day because I don't answer. You'd think they'd get the message that I don't want to talk to them.

No one wants to be called or bothered - and no one should need to go to any website or write any email. If you want people to do a survey - pay for their time.

Number blocked.

Just because you legally can call someone doesn't make it ok to do so at nauseam over the weekend I work shift so far this weekend they've called 8 times it's a complete abuse of their exemption from do not call registers they need to go f off.

I have asked you to stop calling me, and yet you continue to. I have lodged a formal complaint with ACMA.

Here’s some advice Wallis. I screen my calls and have MessageBank for a reason. If you want to be open, honest and transparent please leave a message. I can then choose whether to call you back or wait for the next call and participate. I can also choose to block.

It's time to find out their personal phone numbers, I'm sure they and their families would love calls from everyone here who had a negative experience. Everybody on the Do Not Call register has signed up to avoid any kind of telemarketing, they have reasons for not wanting to be disturbed. Oliver mentioned that they have their own Do Not Call list, please use the register we all signed up to. When people don't answer your calls its only because they DON'T want to talk to you. Take the hint.

They sent me sms firstly from a mobile number requesting me to follow a link to complete a survey. I did not click the link. Somehow they seems knowing I had not clicked and sent me another sms to remind. Today they even ring me directly from this landline. What the hell they are so boring!

I simply blocked both numbers.
