I completed a survey the other day & chose NO for all the marketing offers, but somehow I am still getting calls from these organisations!!

I called back number (03) 9922 5299 just kept on ringing no one answered the call and never got any voice mail.

They are getting your information from surveys that you complete online or competitions. Most likely culprits are WRM Media or Opentop.

They will call and hang up as they purchase phone numbers from companies and on-sell them to charities or vice versa. They phone to see if you number is still active. Phone back and press 1 and tell them to take you off the list or save it in your phone and put a block.
When speaking ask for their name and tell them you are writing down the time of this call..this usually makes them remove your number.

I picked up a call from this number but the person hung up promptly. Suspect it's a company checking to see if the phone numbers are still active.
