Also had a missed call from this number. Didn't call back after reading the comments her. It is a definite scam. Internet providers do not communicate in this manner, nor do they threatten. If there is to be a disruption to the internet connection, as it happened in my case, I was informed by my provider via email and confirmed by sms

This number appeared on my caller ID but was a recorded message that my internet would be cut off unless I pressed 1 or 2.
Not sure if the number has been passed on or if they are able to somehow falsify the caller ID. My phone shows it is the Ringwood area. Number is now blocked on my phone.

Recorded message threatened that my internet would be cut.off in 24 hours if I don't dial 1. On doing so I am connected to somebody who claims to be from Telstra. Thankfully the line got cut off. Smelt a rat.

Robot message left on my answering machine, though the first bit of it wasn't recorded - nonsense about the NBN in my area, my internet or phone about to be cut off, and having to press 1 to connect to a technician. I'm heartily sick of these scammers.

They have rung several times saying I now have broadband in my area and since I haven't answered they will cut off my internet services or press 1 to connect. No idea who they are. Southern coastal Gippsland I don't think so! We hardly get mobile coverage and constant landline cut-outs.

Caller left SMS message threatening to disconnect my internet within 24 hours. Claimed to be from Telstra. Didn't call back, but tempted to and report as a scam
