I do not know this company or who is being talked about - all I would like to say is - these comments have surfaced on the internet!
If employees have a problem - there is Dept of Fair Trading who may be able to assist. Of if an employee is an apprentice - the Apprenticeship Board have spokespersons to assist with communication. Sometimes having a person to negotiate can bring a positive result for both employer and employee.
It would be nice to support Australian made companies.

My son worked for Oakgrove Furniture in Qld, started 2 days ago. They just fired him after the 2nd stating he wasnt up to speed.
What bullsh*t is this. Starting someone on a job he nas never done before and said after 2 days he wasnt fast enough.
Pure bad management, no wonder their furniture is crap if this is what they expect of their staff, to go so fast the furniture is not made properly

Well I'm not sure if this is the same place, 2021 now and i have meet the owner and manager. Both respectful and staff were happy to communicate to me about their products. Have not seen a female boss yet so i assume they have changed this also.
Was given the tour of the workshop, great to see how my product was being made.
