Caller told me that my internet was to be disconnected and wanted me to go to the computer and give them my ip address. I said I was going to get my neighbour, a police man to talk to them and the call became extremely abusive. I hung up.

As above. Received phone call saying our internet was to be disconnected for 24-48 hrs and our IP address would be changed. I said I would call Telstra directly and they hung up.

Calling twice a day, answering machine answers and they always hang up. Very persistent, very annoying.

This is a Scam. They say they are from Telstra Big Pond re our Internet Connection. Our Internet connection is NOT with Big Pond. Ignore them!!

Same as above .. Indian sounding woman calling from telstra to advise they were cutting off the internet today
I asked if we could save time and jump straight to the "Senior technician" and "remote control" for the attempted Syskey encryption. "Oh you know about Syskey encryption then" ... and she hung-up

overseas call centre telling us our internet was about to disconnect our internet due to too much junk being downloaded or something and that they were sending a tech to rewire our router then hung up when we asked about our fixed ip address
