Hi I received an sms from this number yesterday which said I was going to be shot, beheaded and thrown in the Yarra. I was snowboarding at Mt Buller at the time which pretty much ruined my day.
I gave the Police a call, and let a family member know.

Both father n daughter have shamelessly lied to police. This family is built on selfishness n cheating. Owner of this number are evil bad people. They deserve lots of trouble.

My understanding is that this number belongs to a family of low life thugs.. They played games n destroyed someones life n career. They even lied to police. Australian community should disown them.

I got the same message last night. I thought what the hell is going on. Was glad to find these comments when I goog the number. Will report to Telstra and Police and see what they say.

same message received from a friend of mine but addressed to her, "you ugly bitch, I will shoot you in the chest and behead you with a machete, throw in the Yarra. Call here and sort it out" The number goes to message when call back possibly making money off the call back

Got the same yesterday arvo. Huge coincidence cos I am dealing with another issue from someone in Bentleigh - but I didn't think he would be this much of a nut case! Thanks for everyone's input - it is reassuring to know it is a 'prank threat' - if there is such a thing. Funnily enough, rather than scare me it just made me angry. Thankful I checked here before doing something half cocked! Will be reporting it to Telstra. Cheers all.

I got his message today & was frieked out coz they not only knew my name but im gay & they said "Matt you Gay c*nt" im gonna chop yur head off , & all the rest that everyone else has said. Reported to police, the local number , Melbourne , is different to the generic number ( the mobile it is coming from ) are different, The police said are u feeling threatened, i wasnt , its a generic message, but weird how they get yur name .. im not stressed though , i got the same message about 6 months ago when i had a different phne number .. they seem to get yur name & number but its OK .. dont stress peeps .. its a crazy hacker ..

my first thought when I received this text, was it must be a mate playing a practical joke with a bad sense of humour, but the more I thought about it and realised, I don't know anyone at this address, so like anything that I don't understand, I research, and hence I came across this web page full of people that have had the same experience from this lunatic. so the next question is why is this person doing this? maybe the police will tell us

Got the same message this morning. Didnt give a sh*t about it but was wondering how come they get our names right ?

My guess is that whoever is posting the same message under different names on here (Julien, Richard, Lina, Lina Rice etc) is probably the person responsible for sending the texts. Sounds like he got rejected and is trying to get revenge on the girl/family by sending abusive text messages and naming her address. Scary stuff.

I dont get how he can be in Nepal as the area code was 61 so has to be in australia somewhere.this sounds like some sort of terrorist attack to me hopefully this prick will be caught and get his karma
