3 phone calls in one week from scammers rattling off some rubbish about changing our Telstra account. Due to the Indian accent, they can be hard to understand, but when you ask them to repeat what they said, they become typically rude and offensive.

So these guys are your typical pathetic little telemarketing scammers. These creeps called my work 4 times in the space of 10 minutes. The first time they called the lady said her name was Monica and if she could "speak to the owner of the business"DEAD GIVEAWAY! I was in a good mood that day so I was nice, I said "sorry he is in a meeting can I please take a message for you?" Then she hung up on me, I didn't think anything of it until literally 20 seconds later she calls back on the same number..same voice...same background noise but this time she tells me her name is Lea and if she could speak to the owner etc, I replied with "sorry we are not interested in your services" which she replied "oh go f*** yourself" and then hung up on me....again she bloody calls me back same number and all (does she think I'm stupid?) so all I answer with is "hello?" And she said " hi....bye" and hangs up...at this time I am getting fed up, I'm at work with so much work I need to get done and operating a busy switchboard at the same time I didn't have time to deal with this joke..aaaaand surprise surprise she calls again and all I answer the phone with is "bye" and never heard from the dumb Indian telemarketer again ....

Recons they are calling re Telstra lan line...

Extremely rude. Hangs up after they rang you wanting the owner of the business.

Indian scammers pretending to be from Telstra Melbourne. They are persistent, extremely rude and can't handle rejection, as they ring several times a day and hang up when I answer the phone. Block the number.

Some indian calling about Telstra landline phone number. I told them I wasn't interested and hung up on them.
Now every day or two, I've been phone calls from this number & they keep hanging up on me.

Rang back always full answering machine, scam curry Indians

Persistant, calls up to 6 times a day, during hours, after hours...
Annoying..

This number phoned my work ( Hospital ) again and ignored my comment about it being a hospital.
They (she) Indian accent,says she's from Telstra about my bill. When I phoned her number back
the message bank is full and that way they can't be reached.
These people are SCAMMERS BIG TIME. They don't care who they CON.
BUT I AIM TO WIN.

Ha, ha - I always have fun with these people. As them if they are having a nice day, how are the family. Ask them how the weather is in Melbourne, and if they'd like to meet for a coffee. Then tell them you are recording the conversation and have a voice recognition database provided by the Australian Federal Police. Yell yes, 'we have a positive match" and see how quick they hang up LoL

I have blocked the number so need never talk to them again. Getting to the point now i have more blocked numbers than useful ones

Had a hangup call from this number. Not once but twice. When you call them back a person says that due to a full message mailbox Please try again later. Not nice as I work in a hospital and they continually waste vital time.

As per other comments. Asking for the business owner... calling constantly, I always reply "one does not simply call and speak to the business owner... no" then they just hang up....
Quite rude espescially when they are lying to begin with.

Just had a call from an Indian chick saying she was from Telstra in Melbourne. Offering me savings on the business land line account. Pity we use VOIP and don't pay a landline account
I asked her how the weather was today in Melbourne, she asked why am I asking her this question and then proceeds to hang up. Have the ammo ready for the next call which is obviously inevitable from these previous comments.

Just called and tried to tell me that I was paying Telstra over $100 a month for my phone service. Pity I'm not with Telstra and pay much less than $100 a year for my phone service.

Telemarketing Scam, pretending to be Telstra.

Scammers - called saying they were from Telstra & they had a special deal for everybody in our area. No phone bill ever over $70.
Said I was not going to make any decisions - they said they would email me...
and very quickly they hung up; didnt ask for my email address!!!
Not expecting to hear from them again.

They call me, don't say anything and it just hangs up straight away? More than oce a day, everyday!
