I've just come back from Chemist Warehouse in on Millera Road, Well !! I've never been so embarrased in my life! I was purchasing a bottle of perfume which the sales assistant handed to me and told me to take it up to the counter on my way to the counter I was looking a nail polish when another sales assistant approached me and asked if I was purchasing the perfume which I said Yes and that I'm just rapping a bottle of nail polish. She told me in a rude manner that she needed to take the perfume off me and take it to the counter in which I said ok. Well!!! this rude woman was walking around the store and asking staff at the top of her voice who gave me that perfume and as I was standing there all I could hear Oh did she steal it. I would like to say Chemist Warehouse thank your staff for making me feel like a criminal !!!!! Oh and by the way I had to wait for this rude person to return the perfume to the counter after she went around the store quizzing the other staff. You have lost me.

I was at Chemist Warehouse at Gympie Road, Strathpine Qld today. Although we normally go to Carseldine (Always very good service there), today we passed this Strathpine Chemist Warehouse and popped in to purchase a certain product., The lady at the counter had no idea what she was doing and had no knowledge of the product we tried to purchase and how the discount worked. And then she started to argue and that we were wrong. No Customer Service at all. I told her to keep the product and tried to walk out, just to be stopped by the manager who told me not to tread his staff like that. I told him that he would loose a lot of Customers if he doesn't make sure that hi staff knew what they were doing. This store has incompetent staff.
By the way, I went to Carseldine after that and had no problem at all.

Chemist warehouse should really reconsider about their security guards in store.. They're absolutely intimidating and aren't welcoming. As a customer, I'm purchasing goods from your store and your security guards are just plain rude and dumb. They treat every customer like a criminal and accuse you if you don't have a receipt for something you purchased at woollies. You should really consider retraining your security guards to have done descent manners!

I was in the Bendigo store last week was spoken to very rudely by the pharmacist for not filling my anti depressants, when i dared to argue that he didn't fill the prescription he asked me if i think his job is easy and would i like to do it myself!!!!
I feel the stigma of mental illness is alive and well.. when i asked to complain he told me the only way to do so is for him to write it down and send it off, but only after he pretended not to hear me. and all this in a packed store.

Christine. So first you are a cry baby to them, then believe sarcasm will get you want you need, now your a whiny bitch about their duty of care.. Oh please. Try duty of care to yourself. Have some self responsibility you stupid twat

Of course they are going to let you walk out without the insulin, Do you honestly think they will just let someone say.. ohh I need this, give it to me, nah don't worry about the prescription. I'm so bloody special I don't need one.

My best mate needs insulin. I know all about it. So stop blaming others for your stupidity.

I have been waiting for a parcel for nearly one month. Apparently it has been tracked to a post office in Victoria and i live in South Australia.
Am extremely dissatisfied with the Chemist Warehouse experience. I will not be making anymore online purchases and have warned my friends about this. You know what they say about word of mouth.

I had a nasty and unwarranted unpleasant experience at Chemist Warehouse in Campbelltown (Sydney) yesterday (13/02/2015). The experience was with a young counter assistant (Asian background- I did not get her name-she is the only Asian one who works at the back with the chemists) who gets your script. My doctor prescribed (by mistake) the cream instead of ointment of the same drug name. She called my doctor to approve the changeover but he had gone, so I asked if I could get a refund. She pointed out that the tube was hot (rather than saying warmish) saying that she could not resell it . I pointed out that the tube was in a shopping bag and my car was in the shade all day at work. (When I left work the car was under the sun for 10 minutes (driving) until I arrived there). She left me, went back to a chemist behind the counter, consulted him and he approved for a credit or a refund. She called me at the counter and she started up the same argument about the tube being hot. I told her that there was a misunderstanding at the doctor's. She patronized me by saying to me to make sure I get the right prescription. As we walked towards the cash registers, I told her that the cream was for my daughter. As soon as she heard that she gave me a cold stare and with her finger pointing at the name on the box (as if to imply that I am a total liar). It was my name on the box because my doctor gave two medicines on my prescription( one medicine was for me and the other for my daughter). Then she went on to tell me that I should have got two different prescriptions.(How patronizing again).
Also as we walked she continued with the argument about the tube being hot (this is the third argument about the same issue). We got to the cash register, she gave me a credit voucher and before I left ,she again said to make sure that I get the right prescription. How patronizing again, how a young assistant can enforce her patronizing attitude onto a person who is much older than her. Well, head office will hear all about it on Monday morning, and will definitely not shop there ever again (due to this problem and from what I have read here).

When Chemist Warehouse get complaints from customers they won't do anything about your complaint.!! I have an issue with the area of space at the front counter area of the Gosnells W.A. Shop.. The area of the shop is TOO CRAMBED UP, When you are at the checkout/cash register to pay for for goods, You have to walk sideways and squash your way in to get to pay for your goods. They have the display setting with all the cosmetic/aftershave items shelf WAY TOO CLOSE TO THE FRONT COUNTER!! This to me is a SAFETY HAZARD and should be rectified, but NO! They won't change it. You have people with their walking frames and parents with babies in strollers all packed in like sardines waiting to pay for their goods, all because of the NON ESSENTIAL Counter taking up space!! I did point out to them, I would hate to see how you would all cope if a fire broke out. There is simply not enough room at the front of this shop. IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE!! but CHEMIST WAREHOUSE don't thinks so. So we will see what happens and if they do anything about it. I don't think I will hold my breath on it.

I have just had another terrible experience at Chemist Warehouse Mt Hutton. Using a wheelchair is bad enough but when the only 2 lanes that I can get through are always filled with boxes making it impossible for me to get to the prescription counter without having to get staff to move things (and cop all the filthy looks and snide comments). Today was the last straw when I went from one lane to the other and once again both filled with boxes one of the unhelpful staff told me go down 4. Yep that was going to work you can't get a shopping trolley down there and yet I am supposed to get a wheelchair down there without losing all the skin off both hands. I have never used a chemist that is so slow taking and filling prescriptions as Mt Hutton branch minimum time to get your script taken is 10 mins as there is no one whose sole job it is to take and hand out scripts. One trip I waited 35 mins for an epi pen which was on the shelf behind the person who took the script they stood and chatted for 20 mins before she even handed the script to the chemist to be filled then had another chat while there where at least 6 people waiting to hand in scripts. One trip I had a staff member tell me I should not be in there with my wheelchair which I found rather disgusting that they could have such a negative attitude to someone with a disability. All in all I would and do tell everyone not to bother going there as most of the staff are rude and seem to feel that having to help someone is beneath them. I will say there are two or 3 staff that are helpful but alas they can not make up for the constant drama and rudeness of the rest.

I shop at Clovelly Park SA at least once a month and spend approx $50 - $60 each time including my scripts for depression. 24/1/2018 I was in so much pain as I required the toilet, only to be told to cross a busy road use a service station, as our policy is no public to use our toilet. I was clearly unable to move and the manager of the store said her hands were tied. I asked her not to stand there and just stare so she departed. Needless to say I did not make it and felt my basic human right was abused/violated. There was absolutely no compassion or empathy, this left me feeling embarrassed, degraded, ashamed and full of anxiety. Had to go home to clean myself
up before facing the ordeal of going back to get my scripts. Never in my life (63) have I dealt with anything so traumatizing. Never going back. Managers are there to make certain decisions, even if once and a it while goes against store policy.

Just left Chemist Warehouse Burwood North, The Chemist was busy on his Mobile phone while I am waiting... Finally I say excuse me and he got off his phone. The Chemist asked out aloud what my script was for, I said that's between me and my Doctor I have a scripted please fill it. He went came back with the medication and again asked is it for anxiety or you can't sleep or Seizures? I then let him have it. How dare a Chemist ask a customer out loud a personal medication that is discussed between myself and my Doctor? I said who are you to ask anything?! If I came with a penicillin script would you asked if I had Syphilis, Gonorrhoea or Chlamydia? Out loud when it is not your business or anyone else's here business he then said sorry!! Too late after everyone in the premises heard him. I wont' be going back and I will be calling head office.

I was in chemist warehouse on gorge road Athelstone adelaide on Thursday 15th June 2017 trying to find someone to help me in perfumes which is under lock and key for 10 minutes, finally found an older woman who was irritated that I asked for help as she had to go,to lunch then she proceeded to gasp and say someone is around so I told her if it's too hard forget it and I walked away but she called me back and complained not enough staff. Well chemist warehouse I spend a lot of money when I come in but if that's the way you people operate I will go back to Priceline as there's always plenty of smiling staff there.
