I got two calls not long after I did an online quote and just happened to be on another call so couldn't answer. No message so I googled the number (habbit I have for missed calls from LAN lines) and sure enough iselect. After reading comments on this forum I too have now blocked their number. Shame, first time I have used the service but won't be conned in to returning calls because the company is too tight to give genuine customer service.

Same just happened, was just checking out how much the insurance would cost and before it even came up on the screen I had a missed call, no message. iSelect.

Dodgy!! Tried calling me literally within seconds of an online insurance quote. I rejected the call as I am at work, then I rejected their calls another 14 times in 10 minutes. Get the hint! I do NOT want to talk to you. I ended up blocking them as I was so angry I didn't want to pick up the phone.

As above, block this caller.

Used the iselect website to get a quote, wouldn't have been 2 minutes after the quote that they rang... and rang and rang again. I quickly put them on my auto reject list. Seems they are still up to the same sh*t.

I have had on average 3 calls a day for the last week from this number. My phone is faulty and does not ring. No one has the no. I have never called iselect. How did they get my number.

I just answered a call to my mobile from the same number (03) 9452 9529) and the caller hung up as soon as I answered. I requested a life insurance quote from iSelect last night. Talk about an ongoing issue!

I complained to iSelect about all the hang up calls (and directed them to all the complaints about it online) and they advised me that they were 'experiencing a dialler issue that is currently being worked on'. Apparently their technicians are very slow, if this dialler issue has been going on for a couple of years. I'm logging their hang up calls to make a formal complaint; that is, if their dialler doesn't get "fixed".

If you can see their number on your mobile, u can block with app called mr. number.

I too used ISELECT to have a look at some insurance and now they call me all the time. I didnt answer because i didnt know the number but now i can see it's them i wont pick it up either.

Yep - got a quote an hour ago from iSelect, two hang ups from this number already.

I too got a call the day after I did an iSelect quote - you can stop them by going into your phone and selecting your call record and editing that number (03) 9452 9529) and if you scroll down you might see something like an option on the menu to Block this Number or words to that effect... I use an Iphone and when I select edit on a number right at the bottom I get the option to block it.

Did a quote on I-select last night - got 2 calls this morning - both hung up after 1 ring.
By hanging up before you answer they aren't charged for a call and hope you ring back to see who it was and then they can do their sales pitch at your expense.
Unfortunately a lot of sales people are doing this now and the only way of stopping it is to not do business with these cheapskates.
I have also added their phone no. to my ever-increasing list of junk callers so I know who it is when I get a missed call.

Calling number back get message that I Select returning a call to inquiry made about Health, Life Insurance or other form of insurance. I have made no such inquiry. Regular repeated calls!

yep must be Iselect. I did a quote this afternoon and since then ive had 3 calls in a row from this number. no message, just hang up.
