I went to sign up on line for free short time subscription to Hersld / Sun in Melbourne, but I didn’t finish it because they wanted my credit card, I have been caught out by that before, it’s often a recurring charge, even thoug they say its a free trial. Plus the subscription is far too expensive.

Partially signed up for Courier Mail and didn't supply my credit card details. Guess they really need those details because I've said no thank you a couple of times now. Very annoying.

Caller: The Australian newspaper subscriptions I tried to sign up to a subscription to the Australian to get access to one article I needed, but the transaction didn’t work, and based on the other comments here, I suspect it’s the Australian trying to get me to finish the subscription. They called me twice today.
