I received numerous calls from this number on my mobile and home number. The person at the end, always ask "Am I speaking w xyz?" which is my name. I generally say nothing and hung up. I have now put a block on this number on my mobile and my home phone. Hopefully, I won't hear from them again.

Called to offer me a better deal, I told them to call me after 5 pm as I was at work. They have called me 7 times in 5 days but never after 5 so I don't answer.

Once I checked my call log I realised that they have called my landline several times over a number of weeks. When I finally answered they didn't speak!
Just annoying.

After attempting to return a call from this number, which will not stop trying to phone me although the number has been blocked for a year, I contacted TSA Group which has informed me that is is NOT one of their numbers. They make calls from WA, using an 08 area code.
This number is clearly being used by scammers or nuisance callers, so beware.

What does it take to stop these people? After constant harassment in the form of a stream of calls with no messages left, I blocked the number in the middle of last year. But I've just had three attempted calls from the number in the last three days. Are they stupid or just determined to make people's lives a misery?
I called back a short time ago and was told again that it was TSA Group, so I'm guessing that it was Totally Stupid Asses (which is me being very polite in the circumstances).

Told me he was calling from Telstra, and that the call would be monitored with my consent. He knew my name, asked for my DoB for verification, repeated the DoB, and told me that the call would be discontinued because the date I gave him didn't match the one on his data.

I am a Silent Number and on the Do Not Call Register. Only my family have my landline number. They said they were TSA Telco Group offering Telstra customers, on behalf of Telstra, best deal for the customer's needs. They are now reported to the DNC register and Telstra advised as well of their breach of privacy and confidentiality, They even style their website similar to Telstra!!! They are breaking the law. Hang up on them and report them.

TSA is a company looking for quality of service info on your account with Telstra and how satisfied you are with Telstra. They actually had my billing info in front and knew my bill total amount for my current and previous bill as well as the due dates.

I'd say they are legit, but it's a spam call.

Friendly, but it was a pointless call in the end.

Wasn’t a scam call. They tried calling me the other day. I answered and it was a lady speaking in Japanese I think (I learnt some in high school but it’s patchy) I didn’t think much of it. Then today it’s was a lovely gentalman calling to see how my telstra service was going. Legit. He’s only a few weeks older than me, after seeing my birthdate lol. No hassle, he had all my information that Telstra tell you. I got a better deal than I have. One very happy customer. Don’t panic it’s not a scam if they give you your personal details it is a scam if they have to ask for them. Never give out personal details over the phone or in any case.

My mobile phone said it was "SPAM CALL" so I didn't answer, and I'm with telstra!

They keep calling me (5 times today!) I never answer, because Call Guardian asks them to give their name, so they hang up, but it is still annoying. I reported them to the Do Not Call Registry people - didn't even get a reply from them. I think that registry is a waste of time

the caller number was (03) 9427 4435 on 7th feb. my husbands birthday the womans voice wished him a happy birthday. we did not know who it was.

just got a call from this number, they hung up when I answered. Got no idea where they got my number from, I very very rarely get cold calls. But I do have a Telstra mobile, although not a smart phone, and no internet at home.

I believe "TSA" may be legitimately contracted by Telstra to perform marketing, and as a current Telstra customer, this is not in violation of the Do Not Call Register (as the rules currently stand).

The caller seemed professional enough, but my patience has been worn so thin & my tolerance of marketing calls from any company is so low, I simply hang up on any caller I don't wish to speak with. This was no exception.

I simply hung up the phone and continued with what I was doing.

This responses on this page are a solid representation of some ill-will generated when a company outsources key responsibilities. I speak for myself when I say I am fed up with telephone marketing of any kind, but others share this view, and the frustration for some is so great that many will rate this call a "Scam". If you do not wish to shift this negative projection, please continue to ignore your customers and consultants who instruct you otherwise.

Rang me to talk about my Telstra account, I said yes this is a good time, my landline is down, and I’ve been told I have to wait a week because they are busy ( yes we have bad weather in Melbourne) I have no internet or wifi and I’m not happy.

Relieved to read your comments. I just had this call & didn't realize it might be a scam until after I'd hung up. They knew who I was & I thought it was Telstra. They were trying to get me to sign up for home internet which I don't want or need. When they asked for my date of birth I said I don't supply that over the phone. I thanked them for trying to help me & they were really polite throughout the whole conversation. Relieved it's not a total scam. Thank you for posting.
