I'm a contractor for CBA. It is Keycorp services in australia. Valid number, although it will now allow incoming calls received. It will be relating to eftpos and paywave equipment. Basically if you have, or requested an eftpos terminal or bank issue, they will call you on that number. Call them back on their main support line 1800 333 189. Select which ever option corresponds to your query. Hopefully this clears up any confusion.

I got a call from this number, I'm not with CBA but I just applied for merchant facility with NAB so it may be a company that sets up EFTPOS facilities for more than one bank. Waiting for them to ring back, they didn't leave a voicemail.

Called me today and it was Keycorp who issue eftpos machines for Bendigo Bank. You need to call back on a differnt number which they supply via Voicemail. They were trying to arrange an appointment to deliver new machine...so nothing sinister.

Caller: (03) 9403 1605 Similar to most peoples experience with this number. They have not made any attempt to identify themselves or leave a message in any other way. If they are dealing with EFTPOS machines, how could they possibly expect anyone to trust they are legitimate. Joke of a company and banks are wasting their money contracting them.

Caller: They didn't leave a message probably First Data This message is for Ron 28/01/2020. get rid of First Data, they are the most hopeless company I've ever dealt with, nothing but problems with their software which they fail to acknowledge. Put up with their crap for 10 months then switched over to the Commonwealth Bank, their eftpos services are simply the best, Have been told by the technician the Commonwealth have not altered their softwear in 10 years. WHY because it actually works. Good luck

Caller: First Data These idiots just don't know proper business etiquette.. Our bank sold/handed over to First Data all the eftpos terminals, sales and fees. When our old terminal stopped printing receipts we rang them to order a new eftpos terminal. A few months later some female delivers it and leaves; no instruction booklet - nothing.. I have been contacting them for several months as the efptos machine will quite often decline a sale, I then complete the sale as an MOTO (telephone) transaction which costs us more in fees. They then advised me that if I do not return the old eftpos machine I will be liable for a fee of $480.00 so I take it my local bank. This afternoon I received a call from First Data stating that they will schedule a day for a technician to reprogram the faulty eftpos machine. When I asked who pays for the repair of the faulty machine supplied, the male on the other end stated very clearly "you!" I them ripped into him stating you supplied a faulty machine, it should be up to you to repair it, you get enough out of us in fees. Somewhere in the conversation he hung up. So now I have a faulty machine, still paying for MOTO transactions and embarrassing customers with the declined docket.. Now if I could only locate a bank that does not use these useless morons I would switch over instantly... I have had enough of their crap!!!!

Received a call today as well as 2 days ago. Phone only rings twice then hangs up. From comments above, it sounds like they are not scammers in the common sense but if they want to talk to me, they can bloody wait for me to answer.

Ignored all the calls but got 5 calls from this same number between 4:09am-4:13am this morning. If this is a company number as mentioned in the comments, I’m not sure what kind of business hours they are working on. But please do not call at that time.
