I am very speechless to see the comments on here about this "Bingo place" being rigged :( It's sad to hear if this is all TRUE although I was one of the lucky ones who's won the big jackpot 10,000 but after 2weeks of going and not winning nothing AND having that I always do play 6 all the way and how much money I spend, I was losing abit of interest and feeling disgusted to even play again, but now I've won the big jackpot... I've now decided to go less than I usually go to St Albans... I think that you'll just got to be in luck to win and I do find that the workers there are very friendly ESP Luke who brings the place with brightness and laughter!! He's the BOMB I reckon :) Now don't HATE!! LOL...

I am a regular at St Albans bingo. Well was a regular, not anymore!!

Last week I again witnessed something suss. $15,000 jackpot, random calls bingo and quickly followed by one of the staffs mum. This is the 3rd time I have seen her "win" a jackpot in the last few months!! luck?? Nah I don't think so.

Need more proof, the flyer went off, the one linked with the jackpots, again a staff members family wins, they call it a in house winner only before even calling the ticket number,,, wtf!,

It's such a shame, I really liked playing here, it was a weekly outing with a group of us.... Not anymore though, not giving you guys money for nothing anymore

There are now 2 callers who have NZ accent. I thought the middle aged woman was bad; but the younger one is worse. As for myself, I will give playing there a miss. I pay quality money and I expect quality service (ie) callers. Not fair to miss out on numbers simply because I cannot quickly decipher the numbers being called--meaning I lose every time--it is not cheap especially if playing a whole book. It is frustrating that we have to adjust to their accent. We are in Australia and this is a business where we expect to hear Aussie accent. I wonder why other people don't say anything. I am pretty sure if the caller has a Vietnamese or Chinese accent we will all voice out our concerns. This is not racism, I am only citing an example. Please save us some money by not missing out on the numbers being called. This is not sabotage, but until then we will do the right thing by us--go somewhere where we have an equal chance to win; where we are not at the mercy of the "odd" callers. I will miss your venue, but I will be saving money and less frustration and stress. Don't sack them. Just give them other duties, but for God's sake, not as callers. I look forward to the day when I can go back to play bingo in St. Albans

For some unknown reason, all bingo players call as fast as they can. We can't do much about it. Seems that it is some sort of rule, but the NZ caller is the icing of the cake. I think it is not being racist if I can comment that I cannot quickly understand some of the numbers she calls. It is fair that she has landed a job, but it is not fair for us players to have some sort of "handicap" (like in golf) due to her accent. If the company wants to employ her as caller, she has to adopt the Aussie accent. We Aussies should'nt be adjusting and most importantly, virtually losing the money we pay for the bingo books due to misunderstood calls. Players do not complain because they dont want to be branded as "non-conformist" or ignorant-can't understand NZ accent.

I really like this bingo place and i can't believe people just complain complain complain! It's usually the losers that do the complaining anyway. Give these people a break they are only doing their job to serve you. I have seen many "customers" being rude to the employees so it works both ways. It's a game people you're supose to be having fun and if your not then maybe this game isn't for you, don't take it out on other people.

Bingo can be cheated, and is done so everyday at some club or another, the RNG is no guarantee of equal chances to win for all, and with very little effort if staff are complicit in the affair it is even easier, even computer card cheating is possible I have seen it in practice,

C'mon guys they are a really good bunch at St.Albans... I have been going there for about a year and think the staff are lovely.

You say you can't rig bingo ,bull sh*t you can ,Clayton bingo got caught years ago ,by owners ,they got to bingo early ,run a full game ,say book number 1 to book number 3000 ,they run that full game through the computer ,and there you got it,book number 1234,is winning jackpot book,same full game gets run on night ,hey to those who say bingo can't be riged.

Was looking at going to play at St Albans, but after reading the review l think I will give it a miss. It is wrong that worker play, Werribee is the same always the same people winning,I am over it. Was looking for a new play yo play, but it want be at your centre.SORRY

i would just like to say i dont believe u can rig a bingo itsthe luck of the draw but i will say some of the workers at st albans bingo are rude especially the gay guy luke and the kiwi girl i was actually ther thursday night in which he actually put his hands down her breast i thout that was very unappropriate in a work force amongst all those customers not my idea of good workmanship

luke is very rude person and i think the managment is doing nothing about it .about the employee playing in the centre and winning lot of time it doesnot look good for the place at all.

I believe every person should have a chance to win otherwise I would consider that stealing and that is something myself or the other owners would never be a part of... Even I am astounded at how lucky some people are... As for staff playing there they r quite welcome to play when they are not working and if they win good luck to them, I don't really give two hoots who wins! As for the bingo board they are quite welcome to go thru everything and anything and quite often do, we have nothing to hide! actually i have played there and no longer do it is imposible to rigg your just a bunch of loosers im a winner because i dont throw my money away anymore as for luke he is obnoctious and rude but then thats luke and for those who think it is rigged there is less chance of that than the pokies or the lotteries my advice to you all get a life
