Just came from the Good Guys store at Tuggeranong ACT and we are not happy. Our dryer packed it in last night, so after work today we rushed in at 5pm and done the paperwork to buy a new dryer. As it happens, it is not pay day and we only had $370 in $2 coins raided from our emergency moneybox, unfortunately Good Guy policy is that you can't pay that much in coins. So when had to leave without the dryer. Apparently pay less for cash doesn't include coins.

I went to Good Guys Taren Point Store and was served by a gentleman Harry who was very polite, very helpful and very ,, very patient with me. I ended up upgrading after his recommendation, I was very impressed. I have recommended friends to go and see Harry. I needed to share as people never say thank you but always are quick to complain.

bought Asko washing machine before Xmas at Geelong store. Wanted to buy Bosch but was told Asko was better. When using found door difficult to close. Had to drop down on 1 knee & push really hard. Too difficult for wife to use. Went back to Good guys & explained situation. They said it had nothing to do with them as Asko ,Miele put stockon their floor & you are buying directly off them?? even though the credit card was made out to the GoodGuys. I said I didn't think that was legal under consumer law & that I would check with The Office of Fair Trading. The sales person told me that they didn't like being threatened. I asked to speak to the manager who said he would attend to the matter & that the sales person needed more training. The door on the model on the showroom floor worked perfect & was easy to operate. I was told this machine still had the transport bolts fitted & it became difficult to use when they had been removed. Consumer law states that the demonstration machine must not differ in operation from the one being sold. If I had tried the door on Asko with the transport bolts removed & found it difficult I would NOT have purchased that machine.

I keep getting emails and text messages from these cockheads despite unsubscribing from the service and phoning them to state I do not want to receive anything from them.. (in excess of 6 times now) I used to buy stuff from the Good Guys but they are a pack of incompetent wankers and I will not enter one of their stores again.

She doesn't have a son and is a manipulative liar. The number is good, but throw it out unless you like being stalked.

Customer service???? Good Guys Belconnen....since the changes have happened your customer service is abysmal. To be arrogantly and rudely told that I was wrong and pretty much called a liar, you copped an abusive and rude rant from my son who was with me at the time and it was deserved. And then you got another one when your delivery driver was even more arrogant and even ruder than your salesman. We have spent a whole lot of dollars at your store and been loyal...until now. DON'T call your customers liars and explain your delivery prices properly. Drop off and go should NEVER mean literally drop outside the front door and leave..especially not with large items like fridges. Have the decency to at least put the item inside the house. And ensure your drivers are not so arrogant and rude that they demand and extra $40 to simply put the item inside the house. I am so appalled and disgusted with this service and you have lost a long time and loyal customer. Shame on you!! Maybe some staff training on customer service would be beneficial to you.

Latest on GG Iissue

last communication with GG head office resulted in them threatening me with defamation.Threatening by pphone is a federal communications crime punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment. Secondly in Queensland you can't sue someone for defaming a company

I decided to start my protest outside the GG earlyer today. While I was outside I was aptoached by 2 different GG staff in a threatening manner

later police spoke to me as the GG alleged I was causing customers fear and distress. No customer made any allegation according to the police. Basically the GG made a false compliantto the police

As a result I agreedto move on for a day as the police do have the power to moveppeople on for 24 hours if they deem it needed. Really I didn't wast to put the police through a wasted Iinvestigation which even the police acknowledged was a maliciuse compliant by GG

I'll be there tomorrow though

the question really is how can people reasonably deal with the GG who's conduct in resolving disputes involves them doing multiple state and federal crimes which carry up to 5 years imprisonment

After the last post I had to contact GG head office again with no luck

As of Monday I will be standing outside the GG robina branch handing out flyers and talking to customers about what happened to me

for a year the GG have humiliated, threatened, and tried to bully me

Again as I stated in my last post, no one should be the victim of tthreatening or intimidating behavour. It's a pity the GG can't understand this

I purchased a TV a year ago. At the time of sales the sales person tried to tell me extended warranties were mandatory. There were problems with the TV from the start. For a year staff told me the problems with the TV were normal and not to try to and bring it in

A year on I talked to the staff and manager. I was threatened by the manager who stated "I can do what ever I want". I left the store as I felt physically unsafe.I felt upset and humiliated

I contacted the GG head who just got the offensive manager to contact me. He stated he spoke to his legal people and started I couldn't do anything. I ended the call as I felt intimidated

I then called the GG head office back and the person their was using words like escalating and legal team. These terms are typical business intimidation techniques

threatening, intimidation, and bullying are not acceptable from anyone. It's a pity the GG don't understand this

Good Guys Artarmon New HP laptop I purchased from display 1 May 2016 it was not fit for purpose - faulty -so I returned it 8 May. The device keeps stating that my Microsoft password is incorrect but this is wrong as the password has always and continues today able to work on my other Microsoft log in device (Surface Pro 3). The store manager Robert Styler was dogmatic and kept telling me that because the password wasn't working he couldn't return he device. This is ridiculous as it is the device that has the problem and he is telling me to fix the device before returning it. It also has popups that come up because I think the device was sold with all the software still on the desktop (I dont have some of these licences and I don't know the software) given that the GOOD GUYS ACKNOWLEDGED AS RETAIL LEADER IN QUALITY SERVICE The store manager robert styler stated that I must provide the microsoft login password in order for me to get a refund on the $671 HP laptop when that is the reason I returned it – the microsoft password does not work on the HP device but works and has always worked unchanged even now on this device I am sending you this email from. The HP device is not fit for purpose and it is not my responsibility to make it work it is a circular argument and mr styler played the catch 22 game – why does your customer have to resolve a technical issue that made the product unfit for purpose in the first place – this is ridiculous Before I contact the dept of fair trading and the media consumer affairs reporters I am asking that you intervene to get the good guys to look after the customer and not refuse to return a product that was not fit for purpose Sales order S1020195932 Docket D1020480783 HP 15-ac070TX 15.6” icore 7 N4F11PA $671.00.

I have no bitch with the GG Support Centre, they replied to me twice very quickly. However, I am furious that the Bundall store have not had the common courtesy to email me after 3 requests. One from me, and two from their support centre. Do these guy's not want my business? After reading the above dissatisfaction, I don't think they give a toss.

I have just spoke with someone that is extremely rude at the GoodGuys bankstown branch claiming himself as the store manager as well as someone else. I imagine all of the sales reps there are store managers when there is a product complain...! I got hung up on after asking for a price match. I bought a washing machine from them 7 days ago for 700 AUD and having found the same thing sold at Betta for 495, thus I rang them for a price match, without investigating further apart from looking at Bettas internet, they said that if the product is not advertised on internet they are to going to match to what they are actually selling for, even after when I had offered to ask Betta to provide a confirmation of the price of 495 for the same product. I hence had requested for the Store manager and they all claim that they are the store manager...... then I was told that I was wasting their time and I was hung up on.

Seriously if they is what the Good Guys offer I would never ever do any business with them in the future and i am going to post this experience on facebook to share and warn the rest of the public to go somewhere else where their money is well deserved and that them as customers are well valued. I do not see a reason why the consumers should be paying for such rudeness and pay more than what the product and service (if there was any) that the money is deserved. Very angry and very disappointed at the Good Guys, I think they deserve more of a name more like "Bad Arses"

This has happened to me at the Traralgon store for all my appliances (oven, washing machine, dishwasher, rangehood all the high end priced models). Their customer service is appalling and they dont do anything to try and fix it apart from 'oh but we gave you a good price... all we can do is look after you next time'. well that's not good enough as I don't want to be buying from there again! And the manager was plain rude also. (on that note he almost hit me reversing out of his parking spot as he was on his phone!!)
