Caller: Australia POST Unfortunately I missed this call by a second (I live in Sydney and this is a Melbourne number doesn't help when I get soooo many scam calls). Of course if you call back you get the option to call the 1300 number and be mocked by the robot automation.... Reason for your call? I'm sorry I cant help with that and so on until you simply give up.... The only reason I got the call in the first place was because the delivery guy from Aust post tried to deliver the parcel - not by actually knocking on the door - then marking it as delivered without leaving any card or anything - just the email saying your parcel has been "delivered"... Then the parcel went to not so local post office- one far out of the way and of course the parcel was a tv so it won't fit in the car I have. Fixing this kind of problem that should never have been a problem in the first place... Priceless. Last time I ever buy anything from Australia post.

I scratch my head over follow up call from Australia Post received today 16/07/2018! I really can't remember which complaint they would be following up because I find dealing with them is an ongoing issue and have made quite a few complaints this year alone. I would however love to know why my local Post Office is still in operation after so many bad experiences.

Caller: Australia Post Australia Post calling me (despite me choosing email contact only option) to tell me that my parcels, which were stolen from the front of my house because the driver left them in plain sight, full view of the footpath and the road (not what any reasonable person would deem a 'Safe place'), are not their responsibility and they are not liable and that I should contact the sellers to have the parcels replaced by the sellers. Why the sellers have to be responsible for Australia Post's failure is beyond me.

Caller: Australia Post Not sure why people are angry that Australia Post is calling you to sort out your complaints. I answered and received fantastic customer service. Yes, I had requested they email me but they call if they feel it's urgent enough. 100% legit call and my complaint was resolved.

Caller: Australia Post Returned a missed call re: complaint of missing parcell from weeks ago. Recording said we have just tried to call you re: complaint then redirects me to the usual endless circle of trying to then find the person who called me to address the issue. What a mess. You're customer service is a joke Australia Post in every aspect of every department of your business.

Caller: Australia Post Agent hung up as I answered on the first ring, clearly don't like having to talk to customers about their complaints and an easy way to mark down as an attempt to contact the customer

Caller: Assuming AustPost Based on all the comments here I assume it’s Australia Post about a complaint I made. Except, I answered and no one spoke. I repeated hello a few times over about 20 seconds and nothing, so I hung up

I had the same issued. After going through repeated email enquiries with AP they admitted that they delivered my parcel to the wrong address and would try an get it back! Next email from someone else said I should just contact the seller as AP deemed it lost! Such crap service. I'm taking the issue to the next level as this just isn't good enough

I just got a call from this number...Same same, rang twice and hang up...
Aust Post are looking for people to sack... Here we have a person being paid a wage to call and talk to Aust Post customers. The only record of them doing their job will be call registers of out going calls. So they dial your number and hang up, the call is recorded and they get paid.
I for one am off now to Aust Post web site to complain and if we all do that, we just might get this person sacked.

Caller: No one responded I called AusPost to inquire if an SMS message from them was legit. No person answered but got the recorded voice saying to press this, this and that number and that the wait time was "more than 10 minutes" and to indicate if I wanted a call back - I did. Ten minutes later I did get a call back.... but there was no one there!!!! Good One AustPost!

Caller: Australia Post Customer Service This is legit Aus Post. There is a phone scam going around with scammers pretending to be them offering refunds at the moment, so I looked into this heavily and the person who called, is also who emailed, and also who is on my account in the correspondence tab. There is also the same number listed on Aus post under the contact us page, and if you ring it back you get their call centre message bot.
I had submitted a complaint about a package being left in an unsafe location and then going missing. The photo provided was poor and didn't show me where they left it (package was not in the photo) but I knew from this that it was not a 'safe' location on my property as the image showed the ground and fence that are on the street near the letter boxes.
They called to apologise and let me know that the staff member was spoke to and that they would sort the issue. That said, their idea of sorting it was sending me to speak to the company that I made the purchase from to see if they could refund or reorder for me via their own insurance.
