Tech scammer pretending to be from Telstra saying my internet was going to be disconnected in 20 days unless my system was fixed. I'm an IT tech so I know that's absolute bs. Strung her along for 20 minutes, which hopefully saved at least one pensioner from getting ripped off.

Yes its the Telstra scammers with another number.Not much point blocking any more,they must have hundreds of different numbers.Maybe its a franchise you can buy in their country.The real Telstra say they are trying too eradicate this pest.Not a lot of effort i think,as they have been going for years.It just goes to show they must hook some or they would not exist.If in doubt people say you are busy and can you call them back.

Telstra Technical. Wanted to check problem they had identified. Related to my Internet Service.I sought verification details. Took some time for him to hang up.

A man claiming to be from telstra. Asked me if he was speaking to my husband. i said no. he then asked who he was speaking to, i said who am i talking to again, telstra? he then hung up on me. I get this call frequently and they hang up every time.

Same Internet scam. I asked what my name was and came up with the name of another person. I told him he was a scammer and he said " Don't be smart". I then proceeded to tell him he was a piecie of **it etc.
How do these lines not get cancelled?

claims telstra tech rang from this number today, yesterday from (07) 5192 7813 twice clearly scam as I have no telstra services and unlisted silent number and DNC register, not that it means anything to scammers.

Accented voice said she was from Telstra Technical Dept. and the call was to tell me that from tomorrow my internet would be suspended. I said 'What for?' She didn't understand, so I repeated 'Why?' She hung up.
