(03) 9115 7386 Claims to be from Amazon Prime about a payment that is about to be debited - and to contact this number if you do not want your payment to go ahead. Funny thing is the number they call on is my work direct line which is not linked to an Amazon account.

Said my internet security was going to expire and should press 1 etc.
Was a long message on my answering machine that i keep on.

They're back again. Grrrrrrrrrrr. Happy New Year.

Said a payment was going into my Non Existent paypal account.
American accent

Caller digitally leaves voice mail claiming a $299.99 debit has been made on my PayPal account. Press 1 to cancel, Press 2 for refund, 3 ..... YaDA YaDA YaDA! Scam caller. I don't even have a PayPal account. IDIOTS

Recorded message that $299.99 would be debited from my account (?) and to press 1 to cancel or 2 to be refunding ..... SCAM

Called and claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted to talk to our IT, said our licence was about to expire - SCAM!!!

Got a call from a Himanshu looking to speak with IT, said he was from Microsoft and the licence was due to expire.

Looks to be a scam.

Told our internet was going to be cut within 24 hours hahah How many of these have I had?????
I am so over these calls. Surely something can be done to stop them? I block the number on my phone but they soon return with another number grrrrrrr

Had missed call from (03) 9115 7386. Called back and Indian sounding guy said my internet was being disconnected. Told him he's an effin idiot and piss off.

Another caller who did not leave a message SCAMMER

Recorded message apparently from Amazon saying they owed me $300. I don't have an Amazon account. Hung up on them

The claim now is that they will continue debiting $300 from your account for Amazon Prime unless ....

Claimed that I was about to be charged $300 by Amazon for lifetime membership of something. Surprising that the same number is used by so many different organisations! :-).

I called the above number, got an American voice saying hello, which then hung up.
Why cant this number be blocked on land lines or blocked from Australian telecommunication networks?
