Simply Energy have been subject to many high profile complaints regarding the practices of their doorknockers and billing issues

I called back number (03) 9102 7512 reached IVR for Simply Energy.

They have me down as a woman (I'm a man) they have me listed as living in Melbourne (I live in NSW), they have my name as Claire (Its Not even close) and they ring me every couple of weeks.
When I complained I got a smart arse telemarketer, who then rang me twice a day.

So now I let the kids talk to them or I pretend to be interested and waste their time, if they are on the phone to me then they are not making any sales.

I have blocked two of their numbers already but they seem to have a bank of people who once they are blocked pass on my details to the next telemarketer. My blocking function is getting a work out.

This company has called me on both my mobile and landline several times. I never recognise the phone number because it is different every time. I have been polite and rude and it makes no difference. The are amazingly persistent and creative.

he asked if i paid my bills from simple energy and he knew my name... then he said have a nice day bye.

Have had this number call before and blocked it but seems not. Just hung up when I answered. Checked and appears to be a Family Law Firm in Southbank but not this number on their web site.
