I returned a call from (03) 9068 3497 but the number is not in service

Missed a call from (03) 9068 3497. Tried to call back but the number was disconnected.

Caller: Auto speech technology.

Asking if I had a QR code for my business, told me it was mandatory in Victoria. Used auto-talk technology, asked me the questions, then when I did not respond, it auto spoke after about 10 seconds "hey, I'm still listening" then did it again after another 10 seconds, then i hung up.

They leave a recorded message saying something about a PayPal purchase of $299.36 and another payment will be taken from my PayPal account. If I want to cancel my order, which I didn't place, I should press 1 or return the call.

Claimed to be paypal, clearly a scam

Caller: Said they were from Paypal

They called and didn’t leave a msg. I called them back someone with an Indian accent answered saying they’re from PayPal and asked for my full name. When I said I’m not familiar with this phone number they hung up.

COVID 19 scam call.

Called to say they were "updating Covid19 information - a 3 minute interview - are your ready". I just hope no one is answering these calls due to our latest lockdown - how many vulnerable people will this this is quite legit and answer with a "YES"

this no. continues to call me after 5pm. I will have several missed calls from this number and over a span of only a few hours, missed calls from other numbers that are the same except for 1 digit. they never leave a voicemail. same typical pattern of many other “suspicious” callers in the past. i have more
of these scammers calling me
than i do my actual
phone contacts ... :-|
