got a call from this number two days in a row late afternoon. I answered the second day, got a beep and then disconnected. Rang the number back and got a strange ring tone. Single ring... Finally a voicemail answered saying thank you for calling origin, please leave a message. Origin what, I don't know. I don't deal with any companies called Origin.

I keep getting calls from this number when i answer i get a beep then it hangs up...

Just had a phone call from this number - the guy said he was calling from Home Savers. Wanted to know a lot about my mortgage, job and family

i answered this number there was an Indian person with a very bad accent I said sorry I don't understand you let me talk to some one else he said sure then hang up

same here. keep ringing few times a day. if they cant leave a message its not important to me

I am getting calls from this number all the time I just do not answer any more

Number called me today, Indian man very hard to understand. Advised me this was a no marketing call. Was asking questions about cost of living, current amount in my super, postal code, name. I would advise you to hang up if you receive a call from this number.

My phone rang 3 times, then hanged up, wasn't sure on the number i am not with Origin,

Called today, some guy with an Indian accent from Homesavers. Tired to tell me its no a marketing call but I just hung up. Now number is blocked on my iphone lol

This number is driving me nuts. Called twice last week and a further 3 times today. Each time I answer I get a beep, then a hang up. Tried calling back and a recorded message saying number not connected. Hot tip. If you're going to try marketing something (which I'm assuming is what it is), you need to speak to the person you're calling *sooo annoying*

They called me on my mobile few times, promising me "Don't worry, I won't take too long from your time" and then tried to get information about my "cost of living".
When I asked "how did you get my number" he mumbled something about "Yellow Pages" which is a lie as my mobile phone is not published anywhere on Yellow Pages.

It's obviously a call-center somewhere in India which is making use of this Melbourne-based number

Origin Energy. I've been getting the same for a few days now.

I have had 5 calls from this number today no one answers just bleep and hang up

8 calls in the last 3 days! So annoying!

This number will not stop calling me. When I pick up the line hangs up. It sounds like a very similar experience to what everyone else is having.

Next time these f*ckers ring I will inform them I will hunt them down and kill them if they ring again.

Apparently it is a scammer posing as an Origin representative to get peoples details.
