Rang me six times in an hour! Tried to call back, phone disconnects.

Caller: TAX SCAM

Don't answer

Said I hit their car and requested insurance information. I did not hit anyone car nor did I leave a note. Assuming it is a scam.

Caller: They said Bit Defender

Said I'd asked about prices. Told them I didn't & had recently installed another internet security option. They then said goodbye.

They said they were from Australian Taxation Office and said my car was going to get impounded and disqualified from driving if i don't pay an overdue amount thats owing to ATO for about $5000 AUD and.

Call originated from Melbourne Victoria. They rang at 7:48pm on a Monday night. No message was left & I have blocked the number.

Who calls after business hours to a private mobile number?!?!?

I called the number back and rang once and disconnected, not idea who it is

I called back number (03) 9034 5240 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
