Claimed to be from ATO
Wanted my details
Didn’t leave any, told him ATO could write to me and then he hung up

I received the same on my mobile March 11 @ 8:34am

Did not identify who they were or who they were looking for but said it was a taxation matter. Claimed it was a matter of urgency that would result legal action petitioned against me. Used scare tactics to illicit a response be very wary.

Caller: Said from ATO

Obvious scam, indian accent, threatening me there's an arrest warrant in my name, I have to pay ATO due taxes immediately
I laughed, hung up and blocked number
Before hanging up he was calling me desperately: Vait, Vait! 😂

Claimed to be ATO, a poor quality pre-recorded message, claimed to have returned registered mail, threatened warrants for my arrest

Automated message claiming to be from ATO, claimed audit showed tax evasion and threatened warrant for my arrest

an automated message claiming to be the ATO and that I should call back this number as there was a warrant for my arrest and the matter was time sensitive

Also received a call from the above number. Gave no details. He hung up.

Called being ATO, same as above
Hung up after 10 seconds

Tax office scam.

Electronic female voice claiming to be from ATO and that i have outstanding tax. Scam!

I received a voicemail from (03) 9028 7425. This is DEFINITELY A SCAM, trying to get your details.

The automated message starts the moment a human voice is heard at the other end. So my voicemail missed the first few seconds.

It was an automated robot like digital message in female voice with poor English grammar.

I quote verbatim :
"We regretted to inform you that your account has marked been for tax avoidation. Paperwork sent to registered address has also returned back unsigned and undelivered for this. The petition needs to get filed including your warrant for arrest. Now before the case is sent for execution and to receive the legal notification. For more information press 1 or give us a call back on the same number. This issue is very time sensitive. "
