Phishing scam. The person on the other end was clearly in a home environment, but claimed to be from Amazon Support Services. He then proceeded to ask questions about my personal details, in a way that made it clear that this was a phishing call.

Caller: Scammer Said they were going to debit $100 from my Paypal account and to press 1 or call them on a number they gave. Cant remember it. I hung up and called the number that I had received the call on. The person answered with Hello Amazon. I said Amazon hey. OK thanks I can use this for my investigation and then hung up. I then searched the number and saw this. Total Scam as far as I can see.

I had the same call about my ebay account being debited for over $100 and to press 1 or call them back to cancel the payment. Has to be a scam as I don't even use ebay.

The guy called and insisted someone in Kenya had purchased a $200 eBAY gift card on my amazon account. The guy had an Indian accent and appeared to be rather professinoal.

Caller: Todd First he said he was from Amazon, then Ebay regarding a debit for a $200 gift card. Said if I hadn’t made the purchase and wish to cancel it, they would need their server to connect to my device. When I started asking how they would do that, we went round and round in circles. Sounded like they were sitting in a empty room. Hung up.
