Like George, she keeps ringing asking for the business owner, as a follow up to a letter they apparently sent. I presumed it was for a finance conference and I keep telling her no one will attend and the owner doesn't work at this office. She simply says she'll call back later - I tell her not to and that we're not interested. but she still rings!

According to Privacy Legislation if you request to be listed on their Do Not Call register they can be fined up to $75,000 per breach if they continue to call.

They have rung me everyday for at least 2 weeks, I have told them multiple times that we are not interested, They told me i was unauthorized to make these decisions.. I advised them i was not putting them through to the company owner and they said they will just keep ringing, Today my boss was out of the office and i told them that he was out of office all day but they called back anyway... Its like harassment!

People like her make me laugh and in same time i feel sorry for her. What a desperate measures some people would take to make money. But i wonder, is she really that stupid thinking that some one would give her opportunity to quote on finance deal. get real! If she calls again and she called us now twice, raffle once a week. I will laugh at her, i won't event talk just laugh.

She hangs up on you if you argue with her.

They keep ringing our business and when you pick up the phone and say your hello they hang up in your ear. Very, very annoying!!! How do we stop them???

Be nice pretend to be your boss/owner of business and give slightly wrong answers, worst you get after that is hung up on when you pick up the phone.

This number has also been calling our business asking to speak with the business owner. I have told her that if they are interested in speaking with them that they would return her call, she has called back twice today since speaking with her this morning... I had to hang up on her as she was refusing no for an answer.

i just right now got a call from them too. no offence, an indian accent woman... i had been a few similar calls in last few weeks with diff nos. very annoying!!!

I want to burn down their company!
a week ago I got a call around 10, they wanted to talk with the business owners, I said no the business owners are away, then 1h later AGAIN same call! I said you have called me just about an hour ago not to mention you have called us basically almost every week and we have turned your offer down about a month ago!

They called my business a few times. we run two businesses. one in the store where they called, and the other is online.
They had called 4 times and I answered with the greeting for my business for that phone they called on.
They hung up every time.
Today they called and I answered simply with "Hello".
By Jove they actually talked to me!
I asked them if they had called a few times in the past and hung up because it was very rude of them and had wasted my time by running to the phone. They said this was the first time they had called on their record.
They then proceeded to say they were calling from AusVance and then spelled it out to me to make sure I knew what the hell they were on about...
I said "And whats so special about you that you feel the need to call me every day?"
They asked if i was the owner of he business.
I said i was not but that we were in no need of their service and to NOT CALL AGAIN.
They then said ok and have a nice day and hung up.

Yes I am getting the same thing and they hang up on me all the time. Apparently its a company called ausvance.

At least they called from a number i can track. Alexia from Ausvance. Did we receive the letter? She was very polite and even spelled the company name for me. I asked to be put on their do not call back list and she politely said ok. Then hung up.

Nice she was polite but seems from this site I will be getting another call tomorrow. Poo Poo will hit the fan if it does.

ausvance.com.au - 1300 760 930. Every time I receive a call from these Muppets, I'll be banging back 5 calls on their 1300 number - to see how they like it!!!

Repeated phone calls daily from this company... the same as many people have already commented... one day I got them talking.. they wanted a lot of personal info, said it was a business call yet knew nothing about anything... were definitely fishing for additional info - very rude, persistent and almost bordering on nuisance calls... What can we do????
