I called back number (03) 9021 0122 spoke to a woman who said company name is Greenstaff Medical.

they have called me up to 7 times a day even out of business hours and Saturday's. they will call everyday.

They are a nursing recruitment company. They are totally fine and part of a larger international nursing recruitment company. I have actually joined them now as a nurse and went for an interview and everything. Totally legitimate company.

Keep calling although i have repeatedly asked them not to. Now blocked.

They are a scam - they have called me and left voicmails for the last 3 years. No matter how many times i have told them to stop calling me and sending messages which shows (read) they continue to call and harras. Their voicemails are so unprofessional within many long pauses. They are horrible scammers!!

I received a call for a reference check for a nurse, they were not concerned at that I wasn't a manager and the reference check was short and strange. Then there was the hard sell offering me positions in the NT and all over Australia. I don't get the feeling its legitimate.

They tried to contact me via facebook too. I suspect they got my name off a dodgy Director of Nursing that I reported for a dangerous clinical practice before she was promoted. Then ironically I went for an interview with her. When I asked for feedback I got an email with nothing on it, and I think the link is her, because she comes from the same community. People with the surname Kaur and Singh come from the Sikh community and both this DON and these people come from this community.

I have no idea how these people got my number but kept ringing despite asking them not too. They couldn't tell me how they got my number.

Greenstaff Medical is a nursing agency with offices in Australia, UK, USA and India. They are calling to see if nurses would like to join them for agency work in Australia, its totally legitimate. With one of their office in India is why they have Indian people on LinkedIn as part of their staff. It is not a scam they are just doing proactive outbound calls.

I think you are right. I found some more information under Linkedin and then I looked up Greenstaff Medical and most of the people for Greenstaff Medical were in India bar one, whose name was not mentioned. Not very professional. I have contacted the fraud squad regarding this matter. Also on their website someone by the name of Satinderpal Kaur claims that they have helped her out a lot but she is not on the AHPRA website. Will be contacting AHPRA next.

I have been contacted 17 times by Greenstaff Medical and they still kept contacting me after I told them to stop. When I rang back and asked for their ABN the female refused to give it to me. Each time it sounds like an Indian or Nepalese person speaking. I am also in a city where they are not located so I am wondering why they are ringing me, if they are a legitmate company, which I suspect they are not. It is not professional conduct to harass someone and I also suspect it is not a professional company because they never give out their names.

I think they may be getting people's phone numbers from SEEK.com

They have rung me about 17 times even after I told them to stop contacting me. Each time they have contacted me it sounds like someone who is Indian or Nepalese leaves a message. I would love it if someone in Melbourne could go to their office to see if it is a legitimate business and if not, report them to the police. I emailed them and they did not respond.
