Probe is a debt collection agency that Energy (Un)australia(n) uses. Energy australia makes up owing bill amounts when you go and tell them that you are moving to another energy provider thus trapping you with their ridiculous prices. Two scumbag companies working together to commit fraud

Scammers pretending you owe them money .. But one big scam

I asked her multiple times which company was calling and she spelt out Probe? She wouldn’t talk to me about why she was calling my mother and just said it was “an important matter”

They asked my name and when I answer them yes i am, she said thanks and stopped the call. It must be scam.

I got call recently from this number saying I owned them $220 from a year ago when I said I never had an account with energy Australia they asked me to send them a proof that I wasn’t with them that I was with AGL and stupidly I did send them a copy of my bill with my name and AGL account number and old address showing ….later found out that they were actually scammers I have a quick question now that they have my agl account number and my new address can they do anything ?

Scammers inventing fraudulent bills. Haven't used energy Australia for 3 years. Keep ringing on a daily basis. Offered me 20% discount on the outstanding so called bill of $1200. I'm not paying them 1cent. I don't know them anything. Not even bothering answering their calls any more. Total scam artists.

The first information I got was that I owed $3500 to energy Australia was a call from probe ? No info from energy
aus of why rang energy they couldn't help me as it was in the hands of probe I contacted probe couldn't give me a reason what the bill was for asked them to send out a detailed bill as to why I owed this money ? I got a email from probe all it showed was a payment plan LOL the next contact they made to me text msg suddenly the amount had dropped to $2200 an a payment plan yeah right , there still trying to ring me I just don't answer hope this helps others in the same boat 🤬🤬

Claim to be with Energy Australia - I called Energy Australia afterwards and they know nothing about it. 100% a scam. I even have incorrect details in their ‘confirmation process’ and they accepted it

I keep getting calls daily from these a**holes and don’t appreciate it, every time I see the number I roll my eyes and let it ring out. Finally decided to block the stupid number and I’ll keep blocking them as they come.

They say it's important matter and ask me to confirm my details, they did quote my surname but the first name is nothing I've ever heard of. mob no. is right otherwise I wouldn't get the call but strange why would I ever have leave a different first name and I haven't use Energy australia for many many years.
