Pretending to be from Windows and saying there is something wrong with my computer. The old scam.

Indian call centre pretending to be from Microsoft. Spent 9 minutes pretending to do what she said while sitting on the lounge but got bored and told her can't see what is on the screen as I am not at the pc and I am just trying to hold you up and annoy you. I think she swore then hung up. I now love getting these calls and trying to string them along.

These calls are relentless, Telstra DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heavy breathing Indian with smelly breath. He got told to F Off and to get some decent Vindaloo into his system.

Caller: ATO Scam

Just got a robo call from this number saying I have an active fraud investigation against me haha... idiots.

Left a robotic automated message to call back. Sounded fishy, so called to see what kind of scam it was. Heavily accented person answered with a simple hello. When I asked who this was as I'd missed a call, they asked what time the call was, then said this was from the 'tax office' and I should provide my name to them so they could look me up and find my records.

Claimed to be from Do Not Disturb Management Services, but when I asked why he called, he did not have an answer. When I asked other questions, did not seem to know how to answer. My husband picked up second phone to listen to call, then he asked me if I was alone. I said no, and why does it matter. The caller seemed at a loss as to how to deal with me, so I hung up. Really weird!

I don't answer these phone calls because I have caller ID and I let it go to voice mail. They NEVER leave a message. These people are very persistent. I have had approximately 12 calls from them over the last 4 days!!!

Call, most probably from an Indian call centre, telling me my Windows software was faulty. Made a derogatory remark about his ancestry and then hung up.

I don't answer any calls now - just check up the number. Windows scam is listed for this one and I have been a victim on a previous occasion. Thank goodness I didn't answer or they would have copped an earful of a very loud umpire's whistle. I've tried every avenue to block these calls but none of them work. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE. Been on the receiving end of at least 100 nuisance calls since June this year!!!

If it's PC Windows problem do as my son does lead them on for a while and say "wait a minute while I check to see what our latest
version of our Windows is, yes I have Windows but just plain dirty glass must get an Update to Double Glazing".

Or..."let me see know I will go and check my Windows, yes I have some with curtains and the ones higher up no..." oh they hung up!

frequent calls specific times each day from 0762012014 and (03) 9016 8194; so far Telstra unable to block with either malicious blocker nor scam blocker on my line. wait and see I guess. Very demanding people; seem to know too much of my personals, and want to confirm more (like a bluff but not); try to get on other occasions into my pc with my assistance (so Telstra Tech department) and Windows Tech Dep. I think without knowing much of tech stuff that they are using wireless, and other times they say my modem'router compromised security wise. I have put my landline on to telephone/fax, and tablet on block for each number (a few). Tablet success. Landline not. but shriekshrill burglar alarm got them riled up over landline receiver. Tad aggressive callbacks. If not mobiles, then these are lot similar to Texas area numbers, ie.Galveston, Georgia, etc. on wireless . Trying to be a detective tonight over the internet searches I have attempted.

This number calls me relentlessly every day, and get told the same thing.......something is wrong with my pc. They get told where to go but still persist.

getting this call several times a week, answered it once - i no longer answer it.

Nuisance call. They ring then hang up when you answer. Block this if you can. Why can't anyone do something about these calls???!
