Keep getting missed calls from this number also - have never spoken to anyone, as I don't answer if I don't recognise the number. Got to be a scam!

Had a missed call from this number it's not even close to my area code

This number called me and asked for my name then asked me how I was, then repeated themselves and then hung up on me.

It's a company to do with Optus. I just rang the number and you can stop them from calling you. Just ring the number back and an auto voice should answer. He will say 'Do you want this number removed from the service' and then press the right number. then it should stop. I was getting 2-3 calls a day. I rang the number to give an earful but ended up stoping them. Try it and hopefully they stop. Good luck.

I keep getting called by this number, too.

I got one today, 2/11/2012.  Number rang my mobile. I answered. No-one on the other end saying anything.

just got a call from this number on my mobile, could hear background call centre sounding chatter, but no one spoke.
