Save Our SBS may be reached on this number. It is a not-for-profit community organisation advocating for Australia’s public multilingual and multicultural broadcaster, the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) and supporters. Much of the advancement may be attributed to the honorary work of Steve Aujard for the betterment of SBS and entire community. The organisation has a formal structure with a management team but operates at a grassroots level with thousands of supporters and volunteers; those prepared further the cause of public broadcasting in a harmonious multicultural and multilingual society.

The 14 Aug 2012 comment on this number is wrong and part of a scam to undermine the volunteer work of the named person & organisation. They organise community campaigns to better SBS. In 2012 they helped achieve SBS’s biggest funding increase ever; an extra $158m in base gov funds for 5 years, inc $63m over 4 years for Indigenous TV. All up a 27% increase in public funding for SBS over 4 years – yet the 14 Aug comment claims these people wish ‘to bring SBS to financial demise and ruin it for everybody else’. The person named in the comment donates all his services in the public good on an unpaid basis. Any claim that he or the organisation are motivated by “greed” is inaccurate, implausible, malicious, scandalous & a breach of the ReverseAustralia AUP.

This is the number for Save Our SBS, Friends of SBS. Frankly, I do not believe that this is a just cause and I believe that these people were set out to bring SBS to a financial demise and ruin SBS for everybody else. I was told by Steve Aujard that he wanted to sue SBS and he was asking if I had any poor friends. He explained that he wanted to Bring litigation with SBS and he lost the law suit than the poor friend would have to pay for everything and not Aujard. I was apalled that anyone with such greed would ask me such a question openly in front of another witness. I do not believe that this organisation is defending SBS. I do not believe that this organization is defending SBS. Their charter is nothing more than lip service and that this is a scam.
