This guy is a scam artist - please beware - he claims he works with hipages - this is lie as I'm with hipages and they always call from thier (02) number

Got a few calls from them during the week saying they were from HiPages.
They wanted to get me on the front page of google for $99

Bwahahahahaa i almost fell of my seat laughing.
I would love to meet these people in person.....

this guy got me today, indian accent named Brendan. either hang up or ask him if you can have his office details. big time spam. I quickly got in contact with hi pages and cancelled my bank details.

Scam confirmed by HIPAGES they have ONLY a Sydney Nr ... suggested them to send a general SMS to all customers informing of what is happening....

The best way to deal with these people just save them to contacts and block them calling on any smart phone

Had a few calls from them, said they were from www.auswebmanagement.com.au trying to promote my business. Phone line quality was bad and person had foreign accent. Looked up their ACN, doesn't exist. Scammers!

A guy with an indian accent supposedly calling from HIpages to check if I'm getting good clients through the HIPages website. I replied "yes", and then he thanked me and hung up. I'm sure he's setting me up for a follow-on hit. Blocked his number just in case.

They got me today. Took $1000 out of my account claiming that they were from hipages in which I advertise through. I know it was stupid of me, but I learned the hard way.

I had a call at 5.32pm from a guy who said he was from 'hipages' and that I needed to fill in my application form and pay a $173 subscription. I thought it was a bit a of a scam so I asked a series of questions and then asked for my account manager to call me back. Given it was just after bus hours, his voip phone line was terrible, and wasn't at all accomodating, I think he actually got sick of me saying that I could barely hear him (indian type accent) due to the poor line. He eventually gave in and hung up. Never give your credit card details to anyone that cold calls you over the phone. Ask them questions and waste there time instead to the point that they get sick of you. Report it.

Got a call about a membership renewal for an online trade service. Was asked for credit card details. Indian caller.

Calls constantly - hangs up every time I answer.... so annoying!

Got a call from this lady,she asked for me,saying my name and as I said "speaking" she hung up.

Blocked their number as I'vve seen all the complaints above.

I can't believe some of the comments here where you gave them your c/c details.
As a business owner, my default position on any incoming call is "NO" unless it's a sale or potential sale.

i just had a call from this number and saying that they were from Google and ask for my Credit card number and with out thing i gave it i started looking for this number and it seem that it is a scam i cancelled my card

These are scammers. They rang me twice and blah blah about some sh*t. I hang up and block it straight away
