Found a message on my answering machine. Something about a legal case and an arrest warrant "against your name". The above number given in the message to call the "Taxation Office". Scam.

Another ATO arrest warrant scam. Recorded messages.

This is a robo call from scammers saying it's the Australian Federal Police with a warrant for your arrest in regards to taxes. I just hung up and blocked the call

ATO issueing a Warrant for my arrest ring (03) 9005 7499.

I rang back on my mobile - without revealing my number - and told him that I was DI Jane Morton and his premises had been surrounded by the Australian SWAT team. Told him he was to be arrested, charged and imprisoned unless........... That's when he hung up. The "Unless" was that he walk away now and get a real life, the fool. Two can play that game!!! :) :)

Agree with all others, another taxation office scam, at least this time they used a American voice, which is understandable
