just keep ring my no, when i pick it up, they hang up, r they fraudsters?

I am a teacher and I have told them not to call during work hours. Each time they do, I answer the phone and put it on my desk, continuing with my lesson. They hang up pretty quick

Callers like these use banks of automated diallers just going through sequential numbers so it makes no difference if you're ​on a do not call list or not even listed. As soon as someone (victim) answers the rest are forgotten which is why they hang up when you answer because the staff are already answering other calls.
Personally, if they're not already on my blocked list. I'll answer without giving my name. If they say they're asking for me, I'll day I'll just get him (me) then leave the phone to one side for ten-fifteen minutes or so hopefully tying up their line.

I can hear people talking in the background, then they hang up.

The simple solution to this one is just hang up. I used to feel awful doing that but now I don't turn a hair! I simply replace the receiver and they've never rung back ..... so far.

So sick of telling them I am not interested and not to call again. I don't have a land line so as not to get these calls but somehow they manage to get our mobile numbers. Frustrating!!!

Not to mention they call numbers on the Do Not Call list like mine. I'm not even in the damn phone book!

Rang me missed the call I called it back got some chick to answer I said hi I missed a call from this number (please note) first call I have received from these guys she goes hi we're from platinum holiday club believe this bird sounded Asian could be wrong said I'm not interested don't call me again she kept talking over me so I asked hay love what's the time in Asia went silent than hung up lol

An Indian called, how in the hell can these parasites get my name and ph number. I asked him not to call again, he would not shut up, I hung up.

Selling holiday packages. Called me a few days ago, didn't give me a chance to decline or say anything and he rambled on and on about a holiday package worth over $2000 that never expires. I politely declined and he kept trying to sell me. I said no and then he hung up. Just then, a lady from the same company called again, this time I interrupted her and said someone from her company called just a few days ago and I'm not interested. Before I could ask her to remove me from her mailing list, she just hung up on me. Seriously over this company now. They've called me before too sometime last year and the year before.
