I have recently switched from Origin to another supplier. They have rung before trying to get me to switch back, offering a bigger discount then previously. I told them they should have offered the best discount first.

The only reason I called this number back is they were calling me 8 times a day.

They were calling to offer me a discount as I had transferred to Red Energy. The guy could not take no for an answer.

Just block the number, they won't stop calling, always the same number

I rang back, they were calling because I had changed my power supplier. Offered me more discount than the first call I did to them regards changing my supplier.

I changed electricity suppler. They rang to offer me a better discount. I told them it is rather offensive as it appears they could have offered me the better pricing structure whilst being a customer but were quite prepared to rip me off for every cent for being a loyal customer & only offered me their best deal once I had moved to a supplier that offered me a decent deal. I told them if this is how they treat loyal customers they can stick their business where the sun don't shine.

The rates weren't 21% below my old rates - "Oh, I mean 21% below the reference price" - very shady practices. Be sure you check the detail before agreeing

Wanted me to change my electricity to them as a bundle (gas+electricity) deal. I let them know I had a conversation with them 3 months ago and they wouldn't provide a discount. They said this deal just came in last week. Not interested.

Kept receiving calls from this number after hours and on weekend. Do not pick up. Scam calls trying to arrange fire inspection for another state.

The number left a minute long voice mail that consisted of silence, static, hold music, then some sort of audio recording of a television show on loop.

I am with origin for electricity and gas. Missed their call if it was them! I wonder if they were going to offer me a discount? probably calling to get me buy solar panels. I will never know!

Yep, Origin Energy retention dept - making an offer after I recently moved to another provider. She outlined the new offer they could provide, I politely mentioned my provider was significantly cheaper, she asked their prices, I outlined them for her and she agreed they couldnt match so we politely ended the conversation.

Same as everyone else I presume I have just changed my supplier. I changed because of the total lack of respect shown to me in dealing with taking my husbands name off the joint account. They have a severe problem when it takes more than a week to finalise a simple transaction. Also they are dumb enough to send me an email after cancellation saying' let us know how your recent experience was' 'as a valued customer'.

Didn't know the number so let it go to msg. Long voicemail saying Origin Energy, call me back on this direct number about an urgent matter. I left Origin about a year ago as my plan changed suddenly and after ringing around competitors they wouldn't match. Had just finished listening to this message when they rang again. Now blocked.

I changed from Origin 3 months ago & they keep ringing me from different numbers. My contract expired, so I asked them if I could stay on the current deal of 23% discount & they said the best they can offer is 16%. I asked if I was to change providers would they offer me the 23% then and the answer was 'yes', but the offer would come from another department. I said I don't have time to be switching back and forth, so give me the deal now otherwise I will change & I was not happy that this is how they treat loyal customers as I have been with Origin since they took over from Energex. I am now happy with the new provider.

I have been receiving these calls from this number. Origin rolled over my account taking away my 24% discount. I noticed it and did extensive research. I found the cheapest company I could in Australia being ReAmped Energy. So I changed. Net price is so much cheaper and you get none of the scamming tactics I believe are associated with Origins marketing strategy. Look up ReAmped and Save heaps !!!!

Keeps calling everyday and even left an sms to call them back on a different number (03) 8903 9139 for "urgent" matters.
I left origin more than 5 years ago......???
