Just received a call on from this number from a person named Josh saying he's from NAB. Asked him to ring me back on land line number. If he's from NAb then they would have my landline number. 20 mins latter no call. Spam

Had a call from this number this morning.
Call ID on phone read 'Incomplete Data'.
I HOPE that's because phone companies have initiated a method to thwart *'Caller ID spoofing'.
*'Caller ID spoofing is when a telephone’s caller ID displays a number that does not belong to the person calling. The telephone network is tricked into displaying this spoofed number as a result of flaws in caller ID technology. Caller ID spoofing can look like the call is coming from any phone number. People inherently trust caller ID simply because they are unaware that caller ID spoofing exists.'

Not fraudulent. Call back on 132265 and quote the phone number. Annoying they won't leave a voicemail, though.

Not spam - it's a NAB number which is currently being utilised by UBank, a subsidiary lender. Likely calling if you've made an enquiry.

I got a missed called from this number and was asked to ring 1300 748 176. This was NAB calling about updating my contact details. It is legitimate. For those people who have said it is fraudulent because they asked for name and date of birth; obviously they need to ask for you to confirm your identity, otherwise anyone could just pretend to be you. If you are that worried that they are fraudulent, give them a wrong name and date of birth and see what they say; if they say it's incorrect then they already have your name and date of birth - in which case you're not giving them anything they don't already have!

This is definitely not spam. Its the National Bank (NAB) this is an internal number they call you from. I enquired about a home loan on their website, this is how they got my number.

They called me, I asked what it was regarding. They said they wanted to chat to me about my banking needs, becuase I was a loyal NAB customer. I just told them I would rather talk to someone face to face & I wouldnt discuss that sort of thing over the phone.

After getting a missed call from this number I rang NAB Bank on their website contact number 132265. The number (03) 8870 7000 IS NOT attached to the NAB Bank. They have a similar number but not this one.

Had two missed calls and no voicemail messages left. After checking the number online and seeing some of the above stories I decided to contact NAB directly to inquire if there were any problems with my account. They advised me there were no notes on my profile in regards to outbound calls or anything that looked suspicious with my accounts. They did mention it may have been a courtesy call, which does not warrant notes on my profile. If you are ever concerned go straight to the source.
