I rang the number listed on the first page and they were more than happy to remove me from their 'call list'.

No I do not work for them. My kids and many of their friends do. All good kids, earning a buck to support themselves through university. I am horrified to read how some people treat others who are just doing a decent days work. If you don't want to do the survey, say so, and they will move on.

As I said, ask yourself if you would like your kids treated so poorly by some gorilla on the phone.

Many of you are so paranoid it is sad. This is a company that conducts market research on behalf of many other businesses and/or government agencies - businesses and government agencies that have your details and which you have chosen to deal with.

It is legitimate market research. It is not sinister. They are not stealing your identity. The employees are mostly university students working part time to pay their way.

Next time you are rude or think it is great to be a smart-arse to they guy or girl on the phone, go look your own kids in the face and ask yourself this: "would I like some gorilla treating little Johnny or Mary this way." If your answer is: "yes". I guess you have answered the most important survey question in life - You are a twat!

I contacted the Do Not Call Register to complain about these people calling and was told that they are a Debt Recovery/Consolidation company and that they can call unless they are soliciting or surveying. If they do that I can then call back with details of that call. Funny how everyone is saying here that they are survey company but DNC Register thinks they are Debt Recovery - very strange.

Today I got a call from Ted from DBM consultants asking to speak to the person who makes the financial decisions for the company. I told them they were not available and were fairly busy with meetings all afternoon. I told them to call back tomorrow between 12noon and 1pm when my relief will be on switch as I am getting sick of speaking to these people. Don't they get the hint

Its an automatic dialer forcing you to wait in a que when you call them back to tell them to stop. If you don't they keep calling and hanging up on you non stop. This is harrassment, I have no pity for this scum bag company

I did a survey with them recently about phone and internet companies and my impressions of them. I gave Telstra a horrible review and then they tell me at the end that the study is funded/commissioned by Telstra, kind of funny but i hope Telstra don't intentionally make mistakes with my service now!..

they're just kids doing surveys, everyone on here is paranoid.

I have had numerous calls from this number. Calls I have answered and a couple I have, can just hear background noise, like a call centre, then they hang up, without saying anything!!

I've had a =bout 5 missed calls from 2 different numbers over the last few days and I get that same voice mail message a few people have stated here. My home phone is on the do not call register and it's a private number. So, it beats me how these idiots get a number in the first place.

Just had a call from this number claiming to be from Bank SA - and asking to speak to my husband by name. Given we dont have a bank account with said bank, i told him so, he then said i'm sorry my records must be wrong. Also we are on the DO NOT CALL register so who do I complain to ?
