keep getting calls from (03) 8751 7055 from this number i also get call from other numbers but from same place and state

Called and left no message, judging by the comments they are too busy threatening people to leave messages.

Recorded message left on my landline message bank: "55. I repeat it: (03) 8751 7055. If we do not hear from you soon the situation unfolds on you. Goodbye. Take care." I'm guessing a scam?

Had a very strange message left saying "If I don't call back and the situation unfolds on you." Missed the first part of the message on the machine and don't know who which agency/department he claimed to be calling from.

they can got your number cause you filled your number on aplication.

Interesting, it's rare that any scammers leave messages at all, they usually don't want anyone to have a number to contact them. They're hoping for that small number of vulnerable people who will fall for it and are happy for 99.9% of ppl to know it's a complete waste, so automating the process via voicemail helps them industrialise the process to a larger scale without having to use humans for every call.
The best bet is to just block all calls not on your contacts list, but of course many businesses have to take calls from new callers all the time.
Use apps like Calls Blacklist to block by wildcards eg. you could block (03) 8751 * to block variations on this number. Living in WA I just block all Vic, and NSW numbers with (02)* and (03)* and that gets rid of most of them... kind of a virtual Hard Border :)

Just missed this caller on my mobile which came up as Dandenong. By the comments below I'm so glad I did. I definitely know I don't owe the Tax department anything. Total scam, don't answer.

Same as some others - Recorded American accent claiming to be from the ATO urging me to call (03) 8751 7055 or the "situation will unfold on you".
Funny about that - I use an accountant for my tax returns - if there was a drama with the ATO I'd receive notification via them.

Start of message unclear, only heard word "department" - assumed it was ATO scammers

19 May 2017 American accent leaving voicemail message with (03) 8751 7055 number and stating call back or immediate peril. When checking phone number found this website and appreciate above comments.
