Someone just rang me about 10 minutes ago from platinum holiday club saying I've got $2000 holiday credit etc. Thanks to this website and reviews from others I didn't give in. She talked about an imaginary holiday for me, for about 10 minutes about where I would like to go and how she and her family had fun wherever. I was super excited but had my doubts of course. I asked her if she could email me the whole package deal and I'll get back to her. She said no I need to become a member where I would have to pay $49. I asked if they could send me a bill and I'll pay through post office. She said no, credit card or BSB number only, not even PayPal. Paypal I trust the most.
So while i pretended to browse their website while she waited, I was actually looking at reviews online that all recommended not to sign up. "Scam" the word that popped up the most.
She was really nice, polite, even offered to give me her contact details.
After reading everything I told her no. And I am so glad I did because I ended up reading more negative reviews about people who have been ripped off. I'm just a student who can't afford be scammed and lose money.
Save your time, and don't fall for it. Block the number too! Because they could possibly ring back.

Yeah I got the same call. Definitely a scam after your money. Don't confirm or provide any details just hang up or don't say anything they will just ramble on. If its too good to be true then it probably is.

I got a call from these guys, its a scam about a $2000 travel voucher, they will then ask for your personal details and bank account information and tell you to pay them 10 instalments of $49 (490) to receive the voucher. Its a scam, don't be fooled.

Hi I received a call yesterday from someone from Platinum Holiday Club, going on about the 10 payments of $49 for $600 worth of flights and $2000 worth of reward points. Stupidly i have fallen for under pressure, given them my card details with permission to take their first payment next week. After reading the reviews im obviously very nervous now.
No money has been taken, YET. Although i can just cancel my card - annoying though.

No Point contacting these fools at Platinum Club they are dodgy as all hell. They hide behind a company called Loyalty Corp Australia info @ loyaltycorp.com.au 1300 134 418 1192 Toorak Rd, Camberwell VIC 3124 bombard them with your calls and complaints and emails or knock on their door if you are in Melbourne and complain Every store loyalty card card you have gives them your details that is how Platinum Club gets your details . think Coles, Woolworths, Supercheap Auto, Jeans West, Myer etc etc.

I tried to contact the sponsors for the 12th Anniversary Complimentary Lottery Prizes sponsorship. They do not exist except for the poor unfortunate Reliance Communications. Using this name was probably an error - they did not check that a business actually existed with that name. Reliance was able to confirm that this is all a SCAM. If you try and dial up any other so-called sponsor, they do not exist.
