It is the central switchboard number for ANZ. There are a large number of departments, including things like OnePath super, who use this central number. The switchboard operator wouldn't be able to tell you if anyone called you or not.

Its ANZ credit card security department. I applied for a card and they called to make sure it was me applying not someone trying to steal my identity.

This is a legitimate ANZ contact centre. I called ANZ to enquire about a credit limit increase the day before I got this call from (03) 8693 0000. When I answered the call from this number and the caller confirmed details I had disclosed the previous day, specifically the amount I was asking about for my card, my employment details, and such.

It's definitely ANZ. It's must route through a switchboard number and they may even be calling from overseas through this number however it will be ANZ back office staff. Always take care anyway just in case however I answered the second call and they are definitely ANZ

This number is definitely legitimate from ANZ assessment team. I rang ANZ direct and they transferred me back to the department that called on this number. They gave me the number 1800 090 098 to return the call.

Received a call from this number. Indian female left a message to contact AAZ - legit 1800 number, however, very sus, the reference to the 1800 number is to show that these calls are legit and when you call the 1800 number, which department do you ask for???? Totally doggy.

They asked me to go to my computer and log into ANZ account. This definitely sounds dodgy. I will report this to ANZ
