Just had this really rude Indian guy waste an hour of my day. He tells me our services are going to become cheaper because Voicetalk was taking management of our line etc. Although I asked many times if this was a courtesy call to inform me that my carrier iiNet or Telstra (who owns the lines) had made an arrangement with Voicetalk or if Voicetalk was making me an offer. He refused to answer the question but kept giving me the speil about how I would save etc. Eventually I told him that I did not understand him and that I wanted him to answer my question or transfer me to his supervisor. He said he was the Manager and that he had been telling me what was going to happen with my accounts and that I needed a pen and paper to record the changes. I had to say I would take nothing down without him answering my question. He got very belligerent and ranted about this change occurring only because I was an iiNet customer, that Optus customers did not qualify etc. and that I was not listening to him. This goes on with me repeating my question and him ignoring it until I said " I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to tell or sell me but I don't think I'm interested. He just discounts my statement saying that every customer wanted to accept Voicetalks offer. At last! So I ask if I need to change from iiNet to Voicetalk to get these great rates. Finally he says yes and that at last, I understand that this is an offer too good to refuse. Yeah right! I told the guy I am not interested in him, his bully attitude or his company.

We were under the impression we were dealing with Telstra today and agreed to change our NBN plan it wasn't until we called their customer service line with an enquiry that we discovered we were dealing with Voice Talk who refused to answer the 1300 882 172 number they had given us,I am now looking for way's to ensure the don't change our account in any way shape or form as we have no intention to change from Telstra.

told the I did not to change they took my number from iinet took me 2 weeks to get it back now they keep calling saying that I have account to pay which I will not be paying a cent to them blocked them still getting calls on other numbers they even used a name of my late friend scum bags

Stay well away from these people! They contacted Telstra and had our account changed over to them even though we had told them that we were not interested in signing with them. We had a heck of a job getting it back again. Then even sent us a bill even though we had not signed up with them. Even though my number is on the do not call register, it doesn't seem to phase them. They are just a bunch of scammers.

Unfortunately I got sucked in by bloody Voicetalk.
Their internet SUCKS!!!!
Slow laggy and keeps dropping. Called their help line and got pushed away with threats of AUD150.00 per hour costs to have someone look at it.
I can not wait to get rid of this crap service. I have to wait for the full 2 years, else they will charge me an ridiculous amount to leave.
DO NOT GET SUCKED IN!!!!!!!

Voicetalk communication centre is in India. They do not have any idea of our needs in Australia or our set up with NBN. They have made an awful mess of my situation. I do not recommend them.

This number has been calling me for a week, have refused to answer as I know any call from an (03) number is a cold call. thanks to this service I am going to answer the next call with a piece of my mind and let them know that they have been exposed nation wide!

Rang me at work using my first name claiming to be Brisbane Telstra about my home internet and phone service - I advised I was not with Telstra and therefore was not taking the call.

BLOODY HELL I'm not the only one then !!!! Caller offered me FREE 1900 calls ( Cash Cow Sunrise) which I had with Telstra.. Only reason I got Landline put on.. offered me me several other free options for calls as well. NOT mentioning that I would have to pay for the box & 2 months in advance.. He said NOTHING would change except that I would just have to pay my Telstra bill up to date... F@K.. Now I have spent 1 & half weeks trying to get thru to someone... Even pressed 9..9 times for call back service.. There was none till today. WHAT A F@KN JOKE.

Indian guy pestered me by telling me that the NBN connection was being installed in a week or so as evidenced by blue cabled being laid out in my street. Spent an hour on my mobile phone dragging confidential details from me. I tried to get out but have been informed now that it will cost me $350. I got a bill for service in advance a week after the call for $320. Totally corrupt and unethical. Service is grudging and discourteous. The worst experience I have had with a communications company and I cant wait to get rid of them.

Charged us $303. 00 after i rang them 3 days later to tell them that i did not want to change from telstra. They changed our phone number and internet to voice talk without our consent. Just being on the phone for 2 hours trying to sort this out. They told me they would ring me at 10am. Still waiting for these scumbags to ring back
