I answered it... claimed to be linked to Telstra, who apparently provide the lines for my mobile phone... tried to tell me some randomly high amount I was supposedly paying for mobile (more than double), and claiming could provide cheaper - which was $10 more that I was currently paying... Was clearly fishing for more information, and got shirty when I didn't answer their questions, when I demanded they tell me the information I had.
Telemarketer at minimum, more likely scammers.

This number calls you and hangs up quickly. So seeing you become inquisitive you call it back after you check this site and nothing listed to date.
Sounds like it could be a number that has you pay for to hold on. Voice message states please hold on as we will not keep you waiting long.

Three calls today that started at 1503, then very close to about 45 minutes apart. I did not answer any of the calls. The next call, if the cycle continues, will be in about 30 minutes ... They are obviously not Australian and are as usual just forwarding/bouncing calls through the 03 area code, as the 'clowns' fail to realise that it is a public holiday in some States of Australia today. To be honest, they should be regarded as Terrorists and dealt with accordingly ...

Time to get a real job and earn your money by doing a proper days work. Keeps phoning on the hour. Very disturbing and disrupted when you trying to do detailed financial calculations with these call interrupting you all the time. Managers are now questioning employees why is your phone ringing all the time! Please give us a break we only trying to do an honest days work. You should also try it. It will be a rewaring experience for you. Thank you.

Had a missed call from (03) 8640 9634 today, when I picked up there was no one there, however they called back a short time later which I didn't pick up for.

11/10 Scam.
I am a SME ISP provider - called me about my own service. baffled hime with a few technical words and told him if your gunna try scam someone research first. my landline is registered under my own company. ahahah

Called back and the person made it difficult to identify themselves. they told me their name as if I knew them which was crrepy. I basically had to pull the answers out of him as to why he was calling. Kept asking if I was a business owner with an active ABN. They've kept trying to call me back. I suggest blocking the number!

Spoke to someone who insisted I my phone was in a company name. Then tried to tell me I was lying about whether my phone was a business phone or my personal phone. Very rude and insistent.

I have had 4 calls from this number so far.
Each time I have asked for the name of the caller and for my number to be removed from telemarketing list.
I then repeat my question only to have the phone disconnected

Called in asking if I was the business owner. Claimed that I was paying 60-70 dollars per month for my mobile, which was not true, and offered cheaper plans. When I said I had no intention to switch, the caller hang up abruptly.

I called back number (03) 8640 9634 was put on hold music but no one answered the call.

After about 10 seconds it has an automated message that says "Good Bye"
