Entered a online competition. My number was forwarded to a bunch of different businesses even though I didn't agree to it

I think I applied to be a mystery shopper and it's bloody annoying as I didn't say I wanted calls and never ticked any boxes for all the many offers that came up! Still they f***ing call! Calls from Hobart, Canberra, Sydney and now Melbourne. Have blocked them all. Does anybody know where I can file a complaint?

I kept getting hung up messges AND voicemails draining the account.

Background noise on my message bank suggests that it is a telemarketer, but they left no message.

I haven't entered any competitions or signed up for anything the last two weeks I've been getting constant calls from different numbers this is the latest, like a previous comment I never answer unrecognised calls. All numbers have been blocked, despite ticking from text's too one number keeps going to voice message so I have to call 101 to delete the messages. I blame Telstra completely and utterly, there is a number that is definitely generated via Telstra though they deny it so I blame them for all.

Keeps calling and hanging up after one to three rings.

Since my last post, I have received 3 MORE calls from this number, each time showing coming from different locations, 1st was Canberra (a couple of times), then was Brisbane, then Tasmania and just now Melbourne.....I am getting really hacked off with this - why can't someone do something about this?

I got a call from this number on 11/11/2016 at 10:09am it rang for 31 seconds but I did not answer it. I don't answer unrecognised calls or private numbers. I rang the number back at 10:11am and I got a recorded Message Optus regrets the number you have dialled has been disconnected.

Scammers just block them... and forget them.
