The first time they phoned it was from a call centre and they were calling about NBN & Broadband, I hung up.
The 2nd time they called was also from a call centre and they were calling on behalf of Foxtel which I'm not even with so I hung up

SPAM! Didn't answer. What sounded like an automated voice, left a message saying "Dear valued client, you were called today by Prospect Direct, we will endeavour to call you again at a later stage". I'm not a client of this company so blocked number straight away after looking at so much negative feedback from others online.

The caller claimed to be from Foxtel and explained that this was a customer satisfaction survey. However, her questions were phrased in a way to prompt the answer "yes" several times and she ended the call without asking any meaningful questions whatsoever. Sadly, I did say "yes" in reply to her questions. I believe this was part of an attempt at a "replay attack". (Search it on Google.) The idea of this fraud is to collect personal details of the target and then capture a voice recording of the target saying "yes", which can be replayed to credit providers as authorisation for a transaction. I called the number back and it is only answered by a voice message claiming to be from "Prospect Direct". A Google search reveals no such company in Australia, although there is a company by this name in Texas, USA. I am now waiting to see whether unauthorised transactions appear on my credit card, or if someone tries to port my phone or raid my bank accounts.

Had 2 missed calls and 2 voicemail messages saying I am a valued client of prospect direct - I have never dealt with this company and have now blocked this number.

Answered and she knew my name! Have blocked but still can get through.

Ive blocked the number but they still call and leave the same voice mail have not yet answered the call though.

Contacted Foxtel to confirm the authenticity of the call and they confirmed they are a lead generated survey and Foxtel confirmed they do work for them.

I have received 4 calls from this number over the last 3 days. I ignored the first 3 and finally picked up the 4th call. I did not say anything and waited a few seconds until finally a lady spoke up to say hello, I replied with hello as well and immediately the lady on the phone ends the call.

Simone rang from Prospect Direct and asked if I have foxtel. she ended the call after I told her I do have foxtel (I don't).

Started calling yesterday, just when the simply energy calls stopped. Blocked

They called twice today. I allowed it to go to voice mail. Text msg read," Dear Valued Client. You called today..... The rest of the msg made no sense. The word Adelaide wascalso in the text message. I had not called any such number. I have listed this number in my phone as "IGNORE", should the ring me again.

I don't answer interstate calls, this went to answer machine and no message left but digital voice said thanks for calling
