I was contatec twice- no message left and when I called back- number disconnected! So yes a scam!!! Do not pick up.

Caller: Sonic white

Woman called me (with Indian accent) saying she was from sonic white. She read out my name and address and email address (I don’t really use anymore) I asked her where she got my details and was told from a survey. I haven’t done a survey. Told me she could save me money on my electricity. I told her I don’t own the house and to take me off the call list. She said she would and said bye. Left me feeling very uncomfortable

I have been getting lots of these types of calls recently and they structure their questions so as you are most likely to answer "yes". I am conscious of this and always answer "no" because I believe that they are trying to get you to say yes and they are recording you so they can use against you for some scam! Be very careful not to answer "Yes" to anything they ask - even your name - best not to take these calls in the first place but if you do in error just say "Speaking" if they ask is this 'your name'.

They announced they were not a sales call but only doing an electricity survey. I declined to do the survey and wished them a good day. Almost always I find these so called surveys are a sales call or at least a pre-sales call. I forgot to block number so they' rang back 2 hrs later. I blocked it now.

a girl with accent called my Mobile and knew my name and wanted to give me $100 which i refused immediately. And then i hung up.

Caller: Didn't remember his name.

Possible scam call. The caller knew my name on my mobile (how can he know?). After told me his name, he went straight to message "Jim, do you have a house in Victoria?" This guy spoke a soft voice sounded like my Filipino friend's ascent. I didn't waste more time to explore his rubbish.
