Called me about four days in a row. Missed them all, no voice message left. Finally answered today, to tell them to bugger off - Daniel, from Westpac apparently. Told me he'd send letters (I'd gotten nothing from Westpac); knew my full name, and my town name, but wanted to confirm my street address. Told him no, and hung up.

Not 100% if it is a scam, but it's pretty concerning that people have access to this kind of information.

Had missed calls from this number numerous times in the past 2 months. No voice message. I figure that they would leave a message if it was important. Did call back once to get nothing but music, so I hung up and blocked the number. Problem solved.

Received a missed call, no message left. I called the number back... music for about 30 seconds and then heard background noises like a call center (Australian accents) and sounded busy.
After about 1 minute they hung up. I might keep stalking them..

Just got this missed phone number. l'm glad I found this site as I was very curious and wanted to call back - won't now!

I called back, got someone, but the second I spoke they hung up. A similar thing happened to me while overseas last year (I have my Australian mobile number in the US currently).

That call somehow resulted in my phone being hijacked, and attempts being made to use it around Europe.

Yes I got a call but I missed it but later sometime I called back but there Just music going for a while.

Just had a call from this number, it was a call centre calling on behalf of Westpac about junk mail they sent in the post. Don't bother with it.

I had a call today from this number, soon as I answered it disconnected. I called back, it went to some music. Looked up these comments, doesn't seem to be normal. Have added this number to my reject call list.

Received call from this number 1/2 hr ago and got disconnected when i answered.

When i call back, i wwent to classical hold music; with no message which is Odd.

I called back number (03) 8592 2506 was put on hold music but on one answered the call.

Had this happen again today and finally answered.

As mentioned the man speaking knew my name and suburb and asked for my street address.

Sounded dodgey so I hung up and called Westpac. They had no record of anyone calling me. Told me to ignore the calls as they aren't coming from Westpac.

just got the call first time told him where to go after playing mind games with him hope he calls back

i've had the same call two days in a row.. i go to call the number back it it goes straight to some calming music. Glad i read these comments

Got the same call from someone saying there from Westpac saying they had my postcode and then asked for my street name like WTF ended call sounds like a scam to steal one ID
